@andyandcarl It has a happy ending, well if you want it to be. The photo at the end is either in his head; or the family either forgiving him; and actually letting him be part of the family :,).
Are you fuckin' threatening me? You're breaking my balls about a plus three blue shift? Next time you call me out here, that thing better be belching fire! Fuckin' asshole!
Funny how one would not think that doing a boring job you might not notice things, I worked at a job sorting junk mail, when I noticed a piece addressed to a friend of mine in NYC, out of 24,000 letters...
I have been running a one hr photolab for 13 years, i have seen so many pictures you wouldnt believe, i hardly pay attention to them unless its something like cute animal pictures or beautiful landscape, it doesnt make me wanna stalk my customers, I just wanna ring them up and send them on their way I have work to do. Photolab work is technical and fast paced noone has time to stare at all the pictures and analyze them anyway.
Fair enough. But this movie technically didn't have anything to do with one hour photos. But rather dealt with a severely lonely and depressed individual who doesn't have a place in our society. His job was just a good way of expressing the way he lived through other people.
@Mooo5e I know its just funny cuz its what i do for a living. Sometimes people will tell me 'oh you get to look at everybody's pictures.' When you do it for a living its just like working in a factory, restuarant or whatever. Yeah the movie did highlight the psychological side more than the technicalities of the business. Its just one of those movies that makes you think. Good day to you.
I can't call it masterpiece but it was really great movie. Robin Williams showed great acting. Connie Nielsen, Michael Vartan and Dylan Smith were awesome as well. Robin knows how to play bad guys. I still can't forget his villain Finch from Insomnia.
@JthulhuOne I think it was a very intense psychological drama within the realm of reason. Connie Nielsen was the best, though. She acted like some women I know, to good for their own good.
This movie was depressing, sad, and scary all at the same time!

Movies like this are for people who don't need explosions and gun fights to be considered a good movie

I guess our perception of life is derived from where we have all come from and what we do.
