That's not Sazabi...it's Nightingale, Sazabi's upgrade from the Beltorchika's Children novelization of Char's Counterattack. That's where Hi-nu Gundam comes from as well.

On Scenario 38 you must reduce the HP of Char's Sazabi to below 50,000.

On Scenario 53-Accept Haman's Peace Route/Scenario 55-Refuse Haman's Peace Route, destroy Char's Sazabi.  Char will then sortie in Nightingale in your final encounter with him.

Actually, Hi-V and NIghtingale are cannon.

They are from TOmino's novel

Char's Counter Attack: Beltorchika's Children

Which is more in depth than the movie.

Cannonity between the movie and the novel is up in the air. He wrote Beltorchika's Children before he made the movie, but most of the time the Animation takes Cannon priority before the novels and mangas.
