I think United Airlines should retrofit its 747s with ptvs because they are doing the long flights with them. Plus also some partners off the United Airlines is operating the 747s with ptvs in the economy class wich is a case with All Nippon Airways, Singapore Airlines and Air New Zeland. Even Asiana Airlines who is in the same alliance with United Airlines is having a 747 with ptvs in the economy class.
@qantaspilot95 Yeah, well you get what you pay for. United is usually cheapest on Aus/Usa flights. Both are overnight flights anyway and i try and sleep more than anything. but i watch the overhead movies at least they are on clear LCD screens

pretty stupid that united airlines 747's don't have personal tv's in ecomeny for long flights such as syd-lax or sfo
