  • :( :( he's dead now R.I.P :'(

  • I'm still amazed that Apple stores are so busy every time I walk by. IT'S THE SAME PRODUCTS EVERY TIME!!!!

  • Apart from people working in factories, Apple is amazing.

  • @RJWooller But that labour problem is not exclusive to nor started with Apple. That said, Apple could surely withstand the financial impact of starting to make a positive change about it. The USA could surely use the benefit of bringing jobs back to that country.

  • @Macaholic No, I'm talking about the unethical thing of people working in factories, doing mundane, boring repetative work. Sure you might think that this is okay, but it is bad and children working, child labour. We passed child labour laws in this country, but they don't have them in these countries. And another thing you can't get around is the fact that the work was sent over there to make the ecountries richer. All it has done is exploit a lot of people for little pay.

  • @RJWooller Not to get into an argument about all this but they don't use CHILDREN; not Foxconn (the company that assembles Apple's and a LONG list of other electronics manufacturers). As for mundane, boring and repetitive factory work being unethical?? Tell that to all the people who've lost jobs in the manufacturing sector across North America. Assembly lines around the world are mundane, boring and repetitive! lol.

  • And the jobs were not sent there to make THOSE countries richer; they were sent over there to make the shareholders of the American (and other rich nations') companies richer (lower costs) AND to give 1st world nations the cheap products its consumers demanded, not caring where things were made (like shirts in Bangledesh -- now THERE's some child labour for ya). There's a very obvious reason Walmart has become the biggest retailer in the world. It's all about GREED, including consumers.

  • The store closes for 1 day every 4 years!

  • That woman had the chance to talk to Steve Jobs. F*** me.

  • R.I.P

    Steve Jobs :(

  • STEVE JOBS!!!!

  • the iPhone question was superb - his reaction was fucking cold as a samurai sword, zap, "we don't talk about unannounced products" = wow - that's business my friends.

  • @MightyPhalus hahaha you cant afford a mac.

  • Wow, how crazy it is to see Apple stock at $64...

  • R.I.P steve jobs 1955-2011

  • WOW the reported didn't know how popular Apple brand already is in Europe back then. But he last question is spot on! She asked about the iPhone EVEN before Apple officially announced it. It was their TOP SECRET and how impressive she got wind of it.

  • None of the comments before mine wouldn't of ever thought that he would die this year. R.I.P !!!! I miss you!

  • RIP :(

  • Argentine people woke up sad this morning

I have seen tears in the eyes of my little sister when I told her that the man who invented the iPad has died

Has increased in tears when I told her his story

My mother said: Steve Jobs went and went with him half creativity

    My uncle said:

I hated America because of George Bush, and I loved because of Steve Jobs

    I say:

Jobs died and his mind still work

  • R.I.P Steve Jobs :{

  • Comment removed

  • when & where was the first apple store built?

  • @americanGTA Google (and Wikipedia) are your friends, man.

    Fairfax, Virginia. May 19, 2001.

It would have taken less typing to find the answer than it took to ask the question ;)

  • "i made a store out of stainless steel and put my products in it"

there, you don't have to watch the video now. -_-

  • wait, did she predict the iphone?

  • cool an Apple store that Opens 24/7 :D

  • if i had $1 for every pixel in this video, I'd have $10 dollars...

  • @eng21firefighter lol :D

  • About a year later of this interview windows vista came out. Now look at Apple

  • He's even slow like the phone. LOL Thumbs up

  • @The1Mathieu1 You do realize it was just the lag produced by the video via internet right? It's not like he's there. >.>

  • gay. yeah delete the comment douchebag, like i give a fuck.

  • Did they ever make that "iPhone" that girl was talking about? :-)

  • I used to go there to surf the web while in NYC :)

  • He is amazing. Shmacking Google around while fighting cancer.

  • 4:18 reapet OH NO! OH NO! OH NOW! when you do it 20 times you laugh! :)

  • Ahhh I'm so glad I live in New York

  • Steve jobs is face when she asks about the iphone is like "how hell does she know about iphone"

  • @fernandesfran Lower the price? A shitty Acer with Windows 7 costs $600-$700 and a 13" MacBook Pro is like $300 more. But hell, you can't even compare the two products. The MacBook Pro is full alluminium, unibody, has Mac OSX (and can even run Windows flawlessly for that matter) has FAR better hardware and better design. It just works better, and I know it from first hand experience. And you're not hearing this from a Mac fanboy, you can be sure about that.

  • That guy is the genius bar himself!

  • steve is amazing XD

  • Doesn't he realize that price is the decisive factor for most people. Reduce the prices and people will buy in bulk.

  • @fernandesfran And the profits will go down.

  • @DeeWox I meant 'to lose less to gain more' (market and wide-spread usage among the masses).

  • @fernandesfran My point remians... Less profit.

  • I feel bad for the very rich man. Dyeing of cancer. Poor lad

  • LoL...0:42..."Car-dee-ay" As a Canadian who can comfortably speak French, I'm offended by that pronunciation! Cartier...not Cardeeay

  • I wouldn't call it a major bet he makes iron man look like a pauper only he's real (Steve jobs walks into a casino an looses 10mil on blackjack gets mad what does he do? Buys it!)

  • I think he should loosen the security with purchased songs. I can't do anything with them after I buy them like I can't download songs on to a system not supported by apple, that's lame I bought the song so I should be able to do what I want with them. He's just being greedy

  • @lightsZeroKaos It's got nothing to do with him and everything to do with the labels. They own the disttribution rights, not Apple. In recent years there have been more and more songs on iTunes offered DRM free, called "iTunes Plus": support.apple.com/kb/ht1711

  • Ok, if I could have just purchased 1000 shares of AAPL on this day....Id be sitting much prettier right now!

  • I wonder how long Jobbs will be out for. He will be missed.

Check out roundupthebulls-com for free stock alerts. they have been really helpful and making really good calls.

  • Not to mention half those dropped calls was the other person losing signal so why take the whole thing out of proportion????

  • @Simpsonstewie why all people say is apple can't build antennas? My iPhone has no reception issues and yes you get your one or two dropped call just as you would with any other phone, remember my metro would drop 5-10 calls a day what's the big deal with losing a call or two in a month???

  • He probably got all shaken up when she mentioned iPhone.

  • LOL its funny how the iPhone 4 was leaked MONTHS before its release date. Hopefully steve here tightens up security

  • Steve Jobs= beast

  • each time she asked about money and cost he looked like he said in his head "why the fuck is she asking this" and when she asked about the iphone he was like "oh please don't even go there, we dont know how to build antennas yet"

  • Apple is the best

  • Apple FTW

  • Steve is the best

  • boy do I wish I had bought stock back then

  • @thatsmynamedude I bought 10 shares on Jan 23 2009 for $88.88, lol, I sold them in March 2009 for $103.21. I made $143 profit. I wish I bought 1000 shares and kept them until today, I had enough money to buy 1000 shares, but I was just stupid... I would have made $314,000

  • Im surprised, in fact very surprised that Steve Jobs stood very close to the part of the apple store that I was in (this 5th avenue one).

  • What will happen to apple after Steve Jobs dies?

  • @redsfan269 i think he has kids :)

  • @redsfan269 Gods doesn't die!

  • @redsfan269 I expect their stock will take a big hit when he announces his retirement.

  • @redsfan269 apple would fall like it almost did

  • Apple stock $64.42 - today $250

  • @miltonfrank SHUT UP YOU SYCOPHANT.ANSWER THIS ABOUT YOUR ARAB TERRORIST MASTER.WHAT IDIOT WOULD PLACE THE ANTENNA WHERE A CHILD WOULD FIND IT STUPID,THEN LIKE A GREEDY ARAB CHARGE EXTRA TO FIX IT.NONE OTHER THAN THE HOOK NOSED LOWLIFE ,JOBS.YOU JUST FOUND OUT THAT HES AN ARAB RIGHT

  • apple or microsoft both make money out of our stupidity

  • Circuit city is like a Bestbuy but they don't have that store anymore in the world cause there just too dang expensive with there productsnand Bestbuy isnsexier anyway :)

  • It's called an iPhone

  • thankyou for uploading i found this interesting to watch

  • The iPod Cellphone? .... XDD little did they know how much more their market share would grow with the release of the ..ipod cellphone =D

  • circuit city whats that? :P

  • what's the name of that reporter? she's hot...

  • @Maserati7200 Shes ok

  • @Maserati7200 I agree :)

  • One thing you might not know about APPLE store abotu their returns: Pay by credit card, refund back in a couple days....Pay by Debit, refund in 2 weeks for spending over $500. Jobs doesn't allow debit refund in store voer $500. Instead you have to wait 2 weeks for a check in the mail from APPLE. Lesson learned for me...use credit!

  • Why he is always wearing this black T-shirt ?? can't he buy a new clothes ?

  • @elcsandroo I know. I love the guy's work and all, but... it's kinda silly.

  • @TheGigbuddy I love Apple too man, but he must upgrade his clothes rather than Iphone =D

  • One of the people who changed the world, and is still changing.

  • I bet he's wearing blue jeans and white shoes

  • steve, don't die!

  • You know, I just wish Steve Jobs would stop saying "you know" throughout this interview...

  • OMG. That store is beautiful. Makes my local store look pitifull.

  • Steve is a genius! Apple is what it is cause of him! Apple FTW!

  • Steve, you rock. Just sayin' :)

  • The interviewer is HOT!!

  • The interviewer is HOT!!

  • Jobs, why you dissing AMD?

  • This is a fantastic interview, just at the eve of the iphone revolution.

  • Mr (Steve jobs) Genius

  • haha this is about 6 months before iPhone :P

  • lol that last question was great

  • the face he pulled when she asked about the iPhone lmao

  • Mr Jobs ^^

    Rock ON!

  • omg i love apple and steve jobs is my idol!!!!!

  • I love that underground store on the 5-Th Avenue.....

  • GREAT VIDEO! Thanks for sharing!

    Happy Trading!

  • I bet Mr. Jobs is glad to be there. haha... I would be too.

  • IPHONE!!! hahahahaha

  • Incorrect

  • i was there

  • In hindsight, that last bit of the interview basically confirmed the existence of the iPhone :P

  • @kj0ey I know right.

  • The last part was hilarious!! haha

  • haha yeah!

  • LOL the miniute she said iPhone steve was like, im never talking to that hoe again.

  • hot and smart that women is

  • @7hom Yeah...smoking hot!

  • @7hom Yeah...Smoking hot!!

  • You know, Steve Jobs loves saying "You know"

  • Jobs, please clearly demarcate an area in your Apple Stores where customers who know what they want can buy it and leave.

  • its called the ipod express bar, they have the computers as well....reserve online or just walk straight to that area...

  • 3:20 I saw the elevator go up!

  • When she says "iPHONE" Steve's face is like, who the fuck told this lady about our top secret weatpon?

  • i went there!!! its soooooooo nice!!

  • hahaha steve was like how the fuck did she get the info about the iphone before it comes out

  • lol, he handled every question delicately.. especially the iphone question.

  • @kbrinks ?

  • see how steve jobs reacted when she said the word "iPhone"

  • Apple announced the switch to intel in 2005 at wwdc

  • Was that 2006? If so im sure the iPhone was on the production line!

  • i dont get it when people say there not cool for a mac 0.o?

  • While you can be very productive on a Mac in ways most people assume you can't I can also see instances where Windows -- and the more open PC hardware platform -- is a better choice. Not in as many cases as one would think but there are some. Having said that I have always said that "a Mac is more right for more people than they may think".

  • It's the rivalry between companies like Microsoft and Apple that fuels innovation.

  • his face dropped at the mention of iphone lol

  • haha, this video reminds me how much excitement there was over the iphone ever before an announcement from apple. after released, it shook the mobile phone world. sorta like the excitement over the mac tablet now. stay tuned. :)

  • Mac is much better than PC. A windows computrer only lasts about 3 to 5 years and that's if u take super good care of it. And i have a friend who still owns an iBook... which are pretty old MacBook computers. It's over 7yrs old and it's still good. Only had to replace battery and add RAM! :D APPLE INC RULES! Even if Apple Hates us over here in Puerto Rico! :(

  • Also Macs have a higher resale value than PCs.

  • Like Mercedes comparing to BMW's resale prices!!!

  • I don't think Apple hates you. Major US companies have a tough time dealing with import/exports - Most of the time it's our(US) government fault about pricing and shipping. :(

Then again, I don't know the facts! Just a hypothesis.

  • @ianmenendez

    Liez.

I can make a computer that will last longer than the mac PC.

  • OMG, I've been to that store, I CAN'T BELIEVE STEVE JOBS WAS ACTUALLY THERE!!!! :O:O:O

  • why wouldn't he be there its their biggest store and he owns the company?

  • 64 dollar AAPL shares.. gosh.

  • lol at 6:09 steve looks like hes thinking "what a bitch"

  • What happens if some one throws a rock at it ? Will it break?

  • It surely will not break. Like, this aint regular glass like your house windows.

  • @Emanuele522 To walk around New York City with a rock is pretty stupid to begin with, and there is Security guards around the plaza too.

  • she's cute

  • look at the dow good times!

  • That whats sucks about Apple if they haven't announced it yet they don't talk about it.

  • Thats also been instrumental to Apples success. Ever since Microsoft stole the original Macintosh OS right from under Steve Jobs nose, Steve Jobs has always been very keen to secrecy about future products. And its paid off for them, no other companies product announcements get the same kind of attention and excitement that new Apple products do.

  • @Millahtime - actually it is common knowledge that Apple stole the GUI from Xerox. If Apple could steel it, why not Microsoft? By Steve Jobs' own admission - 'Good artists borrow, great artists steal' He has used the saying numerous times. Every product they make stems from that same philosophy.

  • @Millahtime So true

  • lol the headline at the very end said:

    THE IPOD CELLPHONE?!?

  • well I guess we're not buying macs in CIRCUIT CITY.

    THEY CLOSED!!!!

  • i would buy a mac tomorrow if i could afford one..that's the only problem with mac is the price..and in a way i am glad they are expensive because it makes them more superior i just wish i could afford them lol

  • But that is the thing with a Mac you are getting what you are paying for just like a cheap Windows OS computer you are getting what you are paying for piece of junk that can't last very long because it is over run with viruses

  • Steve Jobs is the man.

  • reported 9.63 percent market share as of jan 2 2009. this includes all computers connected to the internet (including mobile smart OS able phones like iphone)

  • No, iPhone counts as seperate as another 1% of internet browsers.

  • "this includes all computers connected to the internet (including mobile smart OS able phones like iphone) "

  • lmao at 7:30 his reaction was funny, they were working on the iPhone at the time

  • bad quality, but good video

  • Yes. My apologies. Went from VHS and I was a n00b on the encoding back then :(

  • Oh its no big deal

  • Me!!
