@fernandesfran Lower the price? A shitty Acer with Windows 7 costs $600-$700 and a 13" MacBook Pro is like $300 more. But hell, you can't even compare the two products. The MacBook Pro is full alluminium, unibody, has Mac OSX (and can even run Windows flawlessly for that matter) has FAR better hardware and better design. One thing you might not know about APPLE store abotu their returns: Pay by credit card, refund back in a couple days....Pay by Debit, refund in 2 weeks for spending over $500. Jobs doesn't allow debit refund in store voer $500. Instead you have to wait 2 weeks for a check in the mail from APPLE. Lesson learned for me...use credit!
While you can be very productive on a Mac in ways most people assume you can't I can also see instances where Windows -- and the more open PC hardware platform -- is a better choice. Not in as many cases as one would think but there are some. Having said that I have always said that "a Mac is more right for more people than they may think".

Mac is much better than PC. A windows computrer only lasts about 3 to 5 years and that's if u take super good care of it. And i have a friend who still owns an iBook... which are pretty old MacBook computers. It's over 7yrs old and it's still good. Only had to replace battery and add RAM! :D APPLE INC RULES! While you can be very productive on a Mac in ways most people assume you can't I can also see instances where Windows -- and the more open PC hardware platform -- is a better choice. Not in as many cases as one would think but there are some. Having said that I have always said that "a Mac is more right for more people than they may think".

March 2008 Steve Jobs announced that Flash player was coming to Iphone & Ipod touch. other hand held devices have Flash player already. most things on the net today use Flash player & with out it you cant go to website like Hulu & video web sites. I read about it , Why Apple dose not want Flash player on Apple Podphone devices what threat it pose

haha, this video reminds me how much excitement there was over the iphone ever before an announcement from apple. after released, it shook the mobile phone world. sorta like the excitement over the mac tablet now. stay tuned. :)

Mac is much better than PC. A windows computrer only lasts about 3 to 5 years and that's if u take super good care of it. And i have a friend who still owns an iBook... which are pretty old MacBook computers. It's over 7yrs old and it's still good. Only had to replace battery and add RAM! :D APPLE INC RULES! Even if Apple Hates us over here in Puerto Rico! :(

I don't think Apple hates you. Major US companies have a tough time dealing with import/exports - Most of the time it's our(US) government fault about pricing and shipping. :(
Then again, I don't know the facts! Just a hypothesis.

Thats also been instrumental to Apples success. Ever since Microsoft stole the original Macintosh OS right from under Steve Jobs nose, Steve Jobs has always been very keen to secrecy about future products. And its paid off for them, no other companies product announcements get the same kind of attention and excitement that new Apple products do.

@Millahtime - actually it is common knowledge that Apple stole the GUI from Xerox. If Apple could steel it, why not Microsoft? By Steve Jobs' own admission - 'Good artists borrow, great artists steal' He has used the saying numerous times. Every product they make stems from that same philosophy.

i would buy a mac tomorrow if i could afford one..that's the only problem with mac is the price..and in a way i am glad they are expensive because it makes them more superior i just wish i could afford them lol
