OH the money I would pay if ANY of my kitties would do this! We have tried all sorts of things, including the chicken & tuna flavored paste, as well as various kitty toothbrushes & bribes to brush their teeth, but as soon as they see either of us coming with the regular brush or the fingertip brush -phyooooon! Gone they go! My Edgrrr loves to "eat" his (& our) bristle type hair brushes, as he LOVES a good brushing, but thinks poorly of toothbrushes as anything but a toy to be bopped around.
Oh, I know exactly what you mean! My other cats don't even go near the tooth brushes. This one is a complete exception. In fact, we didn't even know he was doing this until the day I couldn't sleep at night and went to the bathroom to wash... There he was secretly brushing his teeth!!! :D
since this occasion, we put all our tooth brushes away. You know, cats behave as if they are very proud but they always do silly things!! Would love to see your cats!
One of my Cornish doesn't mind me touching the teeth but the other one hates it. I agree I think it is the taste of tooth brush. I think there is a cat-specific tooth paste that tastes nice.
He always goes for tooth brush wherever he goes (even a baby tooth brysh that doesn't have the tooth paste on it!). It might be the actual brush that he likes. It is a bit of a mistery!
I hope you aren't gonna use that toothbrush now! Lol:P

OMG i caught my cat doing this.....who knows how long it was going on before I caught her. Guess where my toothbrushes go not. Ewwww.
