Man I remember the Toronto Concert Hall. Bill Bragg headlines with Michelle Shocked and Weddings, Parties, Anything. What a show. What a venue.

Saying aloud, "Requiescat in pace Levi Stubbs" seems fitting, somehow--somehow yields a texture of both Bragg and the Tops which resonates back through history, as do both this song and "Standing in the Shadows of Love," "7-Rooms of Gloom," the whole Four Tops oeuvre.
