@newbie525 in my experience guys with no pole related background but in fair physical shape have about 30% to 50% success rate in climbing a pole like in the clip right after few minute of tech tuition. some are able to do simple tricks. Girls in same shape have near ZERO success rate after first practice and have to do upper body related exercises for weeks or months before they will be able to get on the pole.
@newbie525 i hope u r NOT saying that men can not perform these moves at all.
In the video some moves are advanced but some are very basic. the thing is that what is basic and what is advanced is not the same for men and fore women. for example at 1:25 the move looks cool and difficult... for women, but, any guy who just learned to clime the pole are able to do that move in next 5 or 10 minutes.

Ha HA...that was an AWESOME and hilarious video, just watching you guys pole while the guy was mowing his lawn in the background! I loved the opener with Q rolling back and forth in front of Charley poling! Saw a few new things I hadn't noticed inthe pics:--the double teddy at 00:50....and Charley doing an inverted body wave at 1:19 in the forearm grip. Nice work all around, ladies!
@PoleDanceABCs Umm some of the boys apparantly didn't want anyone to "mess this up" Everyone was really nice and they clapped for us when we were done. Some younger girls even asked us about how long we've been doing it and stuff. It was a positive experience for everyone.
I thought that was funny when you see the sign " this play area has been designated for children" , hilarious! You girls are so strong and incredibly good. Do you competitions? You have come a LONG way. You should be super proud of yourself :-)
@cosmiccandy haha the sign was the best. I also ended up doing a chopper on a handicapped sign too - I fell a littel wrong on that one but it is funny and it did hurt, lol! Qulia is super amazing, love the toe hangs!
So lucky to have a pole like that at the park. The playgrounds I go to never have a pole that's not obstructed by one thing or another!! Looks like so much fun.
