You dicks have no souls. Money is not worth animal cruelty. If it's become a vegetarian or eat meat from mistreated animals...I'll become a vegetarian.
Anyone who opposes this proposition is severely deranged. It would be another story if all of the opposition had to live their lives in tight little cages without any fresh air or room to move. God forbid they actually live, dare I say it? Happy lives? Opposition can go fuck themselves, YES on PROP 2!
Say there jhmecca, Isn't it funny how veterinarians who also make their living off animals encourage a YES vote on Prop 2? See ALL the veterinarians listed on the YES on Prop 2 website. If the veterinarians acted like the silly farmers, then they would hurt animals instead of helping them. If the farmers acted like the humane veterinarians, then Prop 2 wouldn't be up for debate! The farmers should treat their livelihood respect instead of contempt ! YES on Prop. 2 !
wow you guys who ever say no to prop 2 is fucked up
you allways think about yourself
amagine if you were a pig who could hardly move in a cage. you would want people to vote yes on prop 2.. who cares if its money. it all matters is that your happy
WRONG! Anyone who votes "no" on Proposition 2 is inhumane and a self centered human being... just watch what these animals have to go through, and just TRY to convince me to vote "no".
Anybody that has not read through the text of Prop 2 is obviously an ignorant illiterate that is thinking more with their hearts than with their heads.
The agriculture industry in California is already regulated in a way that protects animals from harm, while still maintaining indoor space.
Dont be swayed by selfish millionaire actors that have enough money to pay for the costs that come with the passage of Prop 2. The common Californian, however, cant afford such an expense.
"Don't be swayed by selfish millionaire actors..." ahem, how about the selfish millionaire farmers? Farm Animals are not covered under the Animal Cruelty Act which means these farmers can manipulate and treat these animals anyway they want. Don't just read through the text as you proposed, do your research.
Tonsilloliths, if you look closely, the "[Prevention of Farm] Animal Cruelty Act" is actually the alternative title for Proposition 2. Why does it not mention, nor guarantee, the humane treatment of farm animals, you ask? Well, its simple I say! It does not mention, nor guarantee, it because humane treatment is ALREADY implemented in farms today via gov't regulations. Thus its no longer needed, and Prop 2, in terms of humane treatment, is futile. NO on 2!!

Amen Leo. I can't believe this is even up for debate. It's just a bunch of PETA idiots who think their animals need a tempur pedic mattress to sleep at night.
samonella is something factory farms face everyday! they make it sound like our food is safe. salmonella is directly linked to factory farming. prop 2 will decrease the cramming and, as a result, decrease the risk of salmonella poisoning. they should really do their homework. and about 4 (or something like that) other states already have laws like this. and they are doing just fine respecting them.
Wow, how untrue about the salmonella. In fact noticed that the guy says "risking an increase in salmonella" Which means there already is a risk as they are. With all that chicken crap all over the chickens can't be good. That itself increases the risk of diseases. And yes it may increase costs a tiny bit. If you want quality, you gotta pay the price. Aren't you worth it? Or just go vegan and surpass the cholesterol and risk of salmonella all together.
Actually, according to the California Dept of Health, there has not been a case of salmonella traced back to eggs produced in California in ten years. California's food safety program is the model for the rest of the country. Prop2 doesn't stop eggs from being shipped in from other states or Mexico that don't have California's safety record.
HORESECRAP...It will cost less than a cent per egg...this measure supports GREEDY industrial farming that will wipe out family farmers. YES on prop 2...its a modest measure with little fiscal effects!
Less than one cent an egg price increase was UC Davis's estimate of the increased cost to consumers to ship in eggs (that don't meet the standards of prop 2) from out of state and Mexico. UC Davis concluded that Prop 2 would shut down California farms that would be uncompetitve against out of state providers ending a 600 million dollar California industry and putting hundreds out of work. Is 600 million or loss of your job a little effect?
How dare you torture innocent little animals. How could anybody be for cruelty of animals? I cant believe how selfish you are. These animals are giving up their lives to let you pig out on them and you don't even want them to have a fair life before death just because you don't want people to lose their jobs and such? How could you?.... The ignorance of you people just makes me Sick.
Animal cruelty is ILLEGAL in California already. Egg farms in California are currently inspected by the UEP, inspected for organic certification if so labeled, and audited by the USDA. Consumers can choose to buy cage free and organic eggs.
Thank God Prop 2 passed! Sucks for you guys.

Prop 2 will make food unsafe, which is of course why, The Food Safety Department, incourages you to vote yes on prop 2.
