  • 学生時代にオーストラリアに旅行した時に良く聞いた。

    これを聞くと、エアーズロックからアデレードでのバスの車窓から見た奇麗な夕日を思います。

    青春の一枚!!

  • Katkollmer~ Wow thank U 4 speaking out on this unforgiving soul Sween. I had been looking 4 a nice video on Amy Grant's song Heirlooms &this Sween person has written smack about her everywhere. What is your issue & problem Sween?? Amy Grant is an awesome person, has helped millions thru her music not 2 mention all the other things she does for others.

  • @mysterious1961 says: "not even you Sween"

But, mysterious1961, how judgmental of you!! I judge no one; I believe what God tells us at (John12:48). Why don't you believe Him?

God's Word says Amy is in an on-going state of adultery: (Mark10:12; 1Cor7:10-11; Rom7:2-3), and He says that she has no inheritance in His Kingdom (1Cor6:9). I believe Him, why don't you? God says that to make yourself a friend of the world, you make yourself an enemy of God (James4:4).

    You don't believe Him?

  • Música linda e por cima de tudo um romântismo sáudavel, diferente dos "apelos sexuais" que vemos hoje.

  • Muuuuito boa a masterização que fizeram neste clip.

  • I really like this song...just remind me of someone that I was deeply in love with!

  • very beautiful song, thank you for posting this.

  • One of my favorites! Thanks for sharing. God bless.

  • jbgmha repeats again: i don't care about her personal life.

Ah, jbgmha, but God does! He says (Luke 17:1-2): “It is impossible that no offenses should come, but woe to him through whom they do come! It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones."

Amy Grant uses her celebrity to model to "little ones" a lifestyle that has no inheritance in the Kingdom of God. (1 Cor 6:9)

  • @Sween9261 Yes, I agree with you, but the end has not yet been revealed in regard to Amy and her effect on the world. All I can say is her music and words have brought me to my knees so many times, and countless tears of joy to the Lord. Yes, she exploited her talent in secular ways, and it can be argued it was a wrong detour. But, I know she's my sister and an anointed giver of music and message. And for the record, I love this album, and all of hers I ever owned.

  • @modspell, Amy's predicament has nothing whatsoever to do with secular music. If you are a Christian, then perhaps you know what God is saying at (Hebrews10:46-47, and 6:4-6). There have been comments right here on YouTube that show Amy's effect to have been described by God at (Luke17:1-2). If Amy is, in fact, committing sin leading to death, God tells us not even to pray about it (1John5:16).

  • This song reminds me of when I was a little girl and I just love it brings back so many wonderful memories, riding around in the car with my mama :)

  • sacerock says: beautiful woman

Ah but, sacerock, you are not looking with the eyes of Gary Chapman, Janis and Jenny Gill, nor God.

God says that He hates divorce (Malachi 2:16) and treachery. He condemns adulterers to hell (ICor 6:9), and Amy Grant is in an on-going state of adultery (Mark 10:12), (1Cor 7:10-11) and (Rom 7:2-3).

She is NOT (as you wrongly say) "every a man should want in a woman, a wife."

  • @katkollmer how lame eah! ha ha

  • This is such a sweet song...have not heard her lovely voice in years...

  • Comment removed

  • Incredible voice

  • Being forgotten by a friend...is that not the most painful thing???

  • God says that if Amy Grant loved Him, she would keep His words (John 14:23-24). But she, like other sexually immoral people here, loves her adultery more than she loves God, and she refuses to repent of it.

That exercise of free will to disobey God has eternal consequences; God says that adulterers have no inheritance in His Kingdom (1Cor 6:9).

People who think that they can abuse God's grace, and continue wantonly in sin, have not heeded God's revelation to us (Heb 10:26-27).

  • @Sween9261 ALSO, Gary Chapman was married 4 months after Amy got married to Gill.

  • My favorite AG song... Thanks.

  • @K2crest, I've noticed something as well. You have repeated this comment word for word on 5 different Amy Grant videos. Since you only recently got your computer while your serving your time in Prison, I will educate you. If you make the exact same statement on various videos, that is called SPAM and will be marked accordingly.

  • one word.. beautiful.

  • To Sween9261:

But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger. When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, "If any one of you is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her." John 8:7

  • @Sween9261 she got a divorce, there was no proof of adultery.

  • emberHELEN says: there was no proof of adultery.

But, God says (Mark 10:12), (1Cor 7:10-11), and (Rom 7:2-3). Read what He says. God's Word has authority. Your opinion does not.

  • @Sween9261 Then what gives YOU the right? GET A LIFE!

  • @Sween9261 I may not be able to judge you but I can tell what kind of TRASH you are!

  • emberHELEN shouts: I can tell what kind of TRASH you are!

But, emberHELEN, wouldn't you know, God says (Mark 10:12), (1Cor 7:10-11), and (Rom 7:2-3) none-the-less.

People who react so vehemently to God's Word generally are described by (John 3:19-20).

Adulteresses who seek to justify/rationalize their sin take offense at God's Word, and often, like Herodias, call for the messenger's head -- all in vain, because God's Word is unchanging and eternal.

  • @Sween9261 U need to get help. U need medicine....or to go back to the psych ward!

  • emberHELEN shouts: go back to the psych ward!

But, emberHelen, wouldn't you know God still says (Mark 10:12), (1Cor 7:10-11), (Rom 7:2-3), and (John 3:19-20).

Although I don't know you any better than you know me, God does know you. There's no gain to imagine that you can hide from God's Word.

  • @Sween9261 I'LL PRAY FOR YOU!

  • Sad thing is, we were just going to get back together..... Good tune

  • This song reminds me of an ex-girlfriend of mine that I dated off and on for years who died in a car crash in 1996..... I still have not loved another as much as I did her.

  • this song reminds me of when they played it at my middle school graduation in 1996!

  • Graduated from LIC in 93 and this song reminds me of the calculus clas. we all received a 3 except for that Korean kid. I remeber Tracy, Renee, Anh, ..Mr.Schwartz said that we can use music to memorize formulas...Sin, sin, cosin, sin, sin..Ha ha

  • Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) r they who keep His testimonies, and who seek, inquire 4 & of Him & crave Him with the whole heart. Ps. 119:2 How could calling people names be seen as appropriate nywhr? That is a form of bullying. I should know, I teach reform with my students, & many still bully. Their parents do not enforce appropriate ways of communicating, there4 children do not listen as they r not made to do so at home. Grow up! Eric...one word leads to many worse words.

  • Personally, I like the album version of this song better, but still a good song with a good message. :)

  • Okay,I have to chime in here cause some of you are getting a little babyish and overdramatic about being called a blowhard,Or a katcaller!!!!LOL

Oooohhhh such vitriolic words as blowhard!!!

Someone says blowhard and you castigate them for it??Grow up!!!

Blowhard is a pretty mild insult.

    Sighs!!

  • I will remeber you -Always CA>

  • Compared to God, the blowhard greg8698 who boasts a 3-digit IQ but whose intelligence is as a fruit-fly, says: "God did not say what you said he did in Proverbs."

But, God says (2Tim 3:16-17): All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

That includes (Proverbs 19:9) and (Rev 21:8).

  • Wow! Such fruits of the Spirit and Christ Like to call someone a blowhard! Where did you get such inspiration for your words you used? IT was not from the bible...that is for sure...and definitely wouldn't make you whole or complete...as this comment definitely isn't a good work as our Righteous God would see it. For the wages of sin is death. Calling him a blowhard...takes ...an aggressive person to use those words...Where in the bible does it say you should be agressive and negative?

  • People can we please just shut the hell up debatin and just listen to the damn song?Damn!!!

  • love this version - more like R&B

  • Yeh..yeh..yeh...and you are the master at knowing everyone's lives and prayers Sween...oh...that would make you the trinity...how's that? Whatever to my "supposed" state of adultery according to Sweenitch. I am not sure which is worse...getting remarried after your exhusband tried to kill you with rat poison, broken covenant, and death within himself for being mental or using the scriptures for your own gain and hatred, a broken convenant as well. I think the later would be much worse. So...

  • Sorry but God did not say what you said he did in Proverbs. Solomon wrote the Book of Proverbs. And everything in the Book of Proverbs are Solomons words. So here again Sween9261, you misquote the Bible and who said what.

  • God says those who love Him keep His commandments (John 14:23), and His commandments are not burdensome (1John 5:3). Those who do not love Him do not keep His words (John 14:24). People who are born of God do not continue sinning (1John 3:9); people who continue sinning have not seen Him and do not know Him (1John 3:6). Amy Grant rejects His Word (1Cor 7:10-11), and continues in on-going adultery (Mark 10:12). God says don't be deceived: adulterers have no inheritance in His Kingdom (1Cor 6:9).

  • @Sween9261 You're too fucking old for the internet, nobody cares - go away.

  • I'm glad you likely wasted at least five minutes of your shit life on me.

  • Piss in me.

  • Sween, Theodorable's name I bet means Theodore is adorable. Ummm...You called me Katcaller...and you call Greg, blowhard...So, if you are quoting people, the appropriate way to quote is get permission first, be accurate, and be sure you use their name, "handle" correctly. Otherwise, someone might call you a nasty name as well...and that isn't kind now is it?

  • @theodorable Just enjoy the music!

  • Theodorable...that is so funny.

  • I miss you my pretty lady.

  • whats with the youtube comment section being used as a religious forum? You christians are famous for judging everyone you are all so so disconnected from God! What a shame !! You constantly preach hate and judgement. Why would anyone want to be one is beyond me.I have an Awesome relationship with God ,A personal one and by the way I was born right the first time!!

  • It never was being used as a religious forum until Sween9261 started making comments about various people and constantly using various scriptures from the Bible to tell everyone how big of a sinner they were.

  • mgrella63, we're actually confronting someone (Sween) who has been saying s/he's a christian & slagging off everyone, judging, condemning & accusing. We're just reminding him/her that that kind of ignorance is not representative of christians. I'm very sorry where you have encountered such abuse under the guise of christianity. God judged Jesus for our sins, there's no place to judge each other.

  • Beautiful song.

  • Sween9261, you need to apologize to all the people you have lashed out at, out of malice and hatred, and hurt. Reconcile with them. Make amends. Show them Christian love. THEY WILL START TO LISTEN.
