Found this version when I looked up Chris's original after the terrible news about his illness. This is a nice cover but Chris's has so much more passion in it because it is so personal - this a little bit too pretty.

Nah,Chris wrote this,google 'Chris Knox' and 'not given lightly'..he wrote it for his song Barbera in 1990.

Also google 'Frente' and Chris Knox' cover,just to be safe.

AFAIK Frente never wrote a great own song. They did great covers of great songs. This for sure is a cover from Chris Knoxs original.
