What people fail to realize as soon as your detector goes off your speed has already been shown. there is not a delay in the radar system pretty much instant speed of light kinda crap. as far a a laser it can be aimed. most aim it at your bumper area your detector is not going to catch it well unless you deside to place it on your bumper.

You are dead on with what is true in Texas. When I a receive a radar injury, I quickly pull that SOB off the windshield and throw it beneath the seat. Often, this will work. But, if they see an active detector, you are toast.
You ever have this issue with a GPS locked out signal where you have a 3 lane highway and there is a particular signal location but because of the 3 lanes if you say use the far left lane rather than far right lane the dectector goes off and you have to block the false again from the father away lane?
Nothing, they are legal in Georgia, but if you do get caught speeding, they try to use the detector against you in court. Though sometimes, you get caught falsely and the cop lies about getting your speed until he sees you have a detector, then he rethinks giving you a ticket.
@LidarDan15 don't try this in Norway. Some youth got himself a huge fine quite recently because he was using this. What's more keep on doing it they'll take your licence from you. They're stricter here.

Yeah thats why laser is hard to beat unless you have a laser jammer. With the jammer the cop can't read your speed.
