I lived in Toronto and met several people who claimed they prefer toronto to Vancouver because they 'miss the winter'. If you miss the winter go to Ottawa. I here there are a bunch of schools that will ban snow from falling on the property. All the parents are concerned that the kids will make snowmen-which is sexist, and unfair. After all where are the snow ladies? And the snowmen are not anatomically correct, which might confuse the kids. AND They also think kids will throw snowballs, which is a form of violence, and therefore to be discouraged.
