  • listen to the twin engines kick into life, but the stepper unit must be worn, i heard it sound like it changed gear!!!

  • Dunno about the stepper, I was just simply amazed about the loco itself!

  • Loco fitted with a single EE V16 engine and engine revs are controlled by variable air pressure. The change in engine note was as a result of wheelslip caused by slippery rails, once detected the power automatically reduces then is re-applied once the wheels stop slipping.
