You have a point. I would argue, however, that until evidence of tangible homophobic emotion is evident among a large proportion of the "gaming community" this episode of TtWaV does not need to exist. That, however, is just my opinion.

Perhaps gamers *will* be worried about the "effeminate" character mentioned by Holmes. But those gamers will, hopefully, be few. Many gamers involved themselves in the "Nubageddon" debate. How many, do you suppose, will argue that an "effeminate" character may have the potential to influence small, potentially homosexual, children? Not many. Such an argument would never make Destructoid's front page.

The reason the fire temple and the mirror shield got changed was because muslims thought of it as blasphemy. Because of this incident LittleBigPlanet got delayed for a few days because one of the songs had some quran phrase in its lyrics.

You claim that a character who is effeminate will "turn kids gay". That's not your personal opinion; I'm convinced of that. Whose opinion is it? Who is it that you are parodying/mocking?
You then claim that a person must be at least eighteen before they "decide" if they "wanna turn gay". Again, I don't believe that's your opinion. Are you merely mocking bigots? ...
