Has anyone ever thought that tobacco isn't the problem and it's just the filters that cigarettes company's use? Like tobacco has been used for thousands of years.. why is it so deadly now? I've started to rip off my filters off of cigarettes and I now just use ones that I've made out of cardboard/Paper. I don't seem to cough as much any more and my throat has less mucous clogging it up. Just an observation from an avid smoker.
I used to think this sounded like Slint, and wrote this band off for sometime. But something just kept drawing me back to the album. This song in particular may have one obvious similarity to Slint, but musically no way. Slint's music is mostly crazy, noisy math rock, which I also love, while this stuff is a lot more straightforward but still very unique. I love the beautiful chords and slight aggression, and obviously the slowness. And this is definitely a song of it's own. Love it.

It should also be noted that this album came out in 1990, while Spiderland was released in '91.
