  • i believe it was les paul that ranked that pansy axel rose best metal voice of all time. rob doing this just one of his many greats they were completely fckd. priest one of the greatest metal bands ever. peace. thanks for the great music!

  • This guitar solo is what made me take interest in Judas Priest.

I am yet to be disappointed, put it that way!!!

  • This is, definitely, the most underrated album of JP by the new generations... but Stained Class is one of the best Priest songs, and I like specially THIS song. I have the remaster, a good friend gave it to me, and listening to BEYOND THE REALMS OF DEATH in a concert was one of the best experiences of my whole life

    LONG LIVE PRIEST!

  • Cool Tune!!!!!

  • the solo is out of this world

  • Possibly one of my favourite solos I've heard since 2001 when i discovered Pantera's "Floods" solo. I heard this song just yesterday and just melted. The solo is just mesmerizing.

  • im so stoned

  • rarely has a solo fit the emotion of a song as well as tipton's.

  • Rip Dad!!! This was his favorite song

  • come on; i am drunKkn and i love this song bein drunk too, what ir means??'

  • this is my personal favourite song of thiers,no question thier best ,& im mostly into hardcore punk, but have loved judas priest since i was 6,my brother was a huge metal head so i listened to it from a young age,now im getting my daughter into it...cheers from nova scotia ,canada

  • one of the bests songs of this band! great!

  • Song is amazing, gives me goosebumps! Too bad i was born 40years late...

  • @Kebabsvarvarennr2 it is not too late as long as you live

  • Πόσο κομματάρα, ω Μεγαλοδύναμε?! :O

  • This song makes me want to cry! Love it! <3

  • riff stolen from 16th century greensleeves by rainbow, otherwise great song

  • @thacarofmiki you're wrong, It's not even the same chords. But it's not far away from it!

  • I think Stained Class & Defenders Of The Faith are their two HEAVIEST albums...saw the D.O.T.F tour at MSG in 1984 and everyone in the floor seats tore out the seat cushions and started tossing them around. It looked like flying saucers. They didn't have another Heavy Metal concert their for a looong time ;D

  • what a fuckin solo

  • Blind Guardian does a great cover of this. This is my first time hearing the original!

  • MaidenDio252. Ozzy, Kurt Cobain are fucken morons who know nothing about music.

  • @axn36 jajajajaj poor you, Ozzy and black sabbath made Heavy metal... poor you little boy.

  • @Yzakl7. Not sabbath. It's motorhead. Check the sound & speed with melody.

  • @Yzakl7 no, only toni iommi did.

  • my fav song fuckem all

  • Learn your metal. 70s Priest = good. Soulless melodic wanking metal = bad.

  • rozpierdol

  • Probably the best guitar solo on Earth....Glenn rules....many have tried to duplicate it....and failed..........it's called MAGIC......finesse.....epic........

  • Stained Class is a perfect album.

  • AMAZING! ID SHOOT MYSELF TO THIS!!!!

  • black sabbath are awesome. liking black sabbath is a bonus, and not a must if you also like judas priest. judas priest/black sabbath/iron maiden are the main and "creators" of heavy metal in my opinion

  • @pizzaslicepwnu yeah !! you're right

  • @pizzaslicepwnu Amen Brother

  • 3:11 for the worlds best solo <3

  • this is my favourite Priest song. I want this at my funeral

  • Stunning....

  • fucking badass

  • this is truly thier best song,i loved it since i was 8 now im 35 got my own daughter & she loves them too...cheers from nova scotia,canada....(A)///(E)...SMASH FASCIST NAZI SCUM

  • A true Connoisseur of fine metal appreciates music of this quality.

  • easily there best song, deffinitly there best album..cheers from canada

  • al q tal solo escelente este tema heavy metal

  • thumbs up if you searched for @madisonsuicide's comment! JUDAS PRIEST \m/ <3

  • The solo = sex on the guitar

  • @ChrisY2Jericho1 idiot! Listen solo! Thats music not rap!THAY MAKING SONG WITH THESE INSTRUMENT NOT WITH FUCKING CPU!

  • @Milan96the wtf are you talking about?

  • These guys ripped off Blind Guardian.

  • @antdigger You must be on CRACK!!! How can this be a rip off of Blind Guardian, When those wanna be metal gods were just kids or not even playing music yet when this song was written and recorded by THIS BAND..JUDAS PRIEST. But I suppose someone who listens to Blind Guardian over Judas Priest would almost have to be lacking in any knowledge metal/music related. WHAT KIND OF A STATEMENT IS THAT ANYWAYS. How does anyone come across Blind Guardian before hearing of JUDAS PRIEST

  • @antdigger lol keep on trolling

  • @antdigger This was created many years before Blind Guardian came into existence

  • @antdigger you are sadly mistaken

  • @antdigger What the fuck is Blind Guardian? This album in far more older and better than Blind crap....

  • @RadzioTheGreat as much as i agree that Priest rules...fuck you. Blind Guardian is goddamn awesome.

  • This song says everything i felt in my past life.

  • DAMN THIS IS THE SHIT! F YOU HATERS!

  • best days of my life!!

  • @555julianfairbanks i didnt know that dreamer deciever was a cover are you sure JP didnt write that?

  • it says to click for better sound quality but theres nothing wrong with this, one of my favs by them, definity my fav album..cheers from nova scotia, canada

  • Am I the only one who hears the exact same riff in the Styx song, Suite Madame Blue? Both amazing songs.

  • @styxman34 I thought exactly the same - and the singing in the verse is even similar! Still different in many other ways though

  • JUDAS PRIEST = METAL GODS

  • BLACK SABBATH// JUDAS PRIEST,2 OF THE BEST BANDS EVER..CHEERS FROM CANADA

  • @804safety. Cheers for Canada, annihilator, bryan adams, so fine bands. Twisted Sister

  • @axn36 yes but twisted sister is american not canadian,we just live above the states but are very much different than the yanks, were not as war crazy

  • @804safety. Oh sorry. Actually yes, many scholars in my India also praise Canada a lot, for the country being friendly with all. But I think Canada is a part of NATO and sent troops to Irak and Afghanistan?

  • @804safety. I believe in unionist policy. For me, US, Canada, Australia and UK are same, as they are English speaking nations with 80% white population. I don't think that Latin America differs from North America. All are human being. US to Chile should be united as EU, all Arab nations should be united (they have one language and religion), China, Japan and all Southeast Asian Nations should be united, as all are Mongoloids.

  • @axn36 how about we all unite as we are all human beings,im not racist & dont think that all people that are the same race should unitee with just eachother, thats fascist thinking, were all the human race & not one race is better than another...

  • best solo ever...!? ...best solo ever.

  • @BilloMattoXD - yes, easily, best by tipton, and downing's epic ending solo not too far behind either....

  • axn36 most people who like this will probably disagree with you knocking Black Sabbath that hard, lol, I agree this song is among the very best tho'. :)

"Run of the Mill" is another Priest song I'd put up by this one. LOVE old Priest. (and the vast majority of new Priest)

  • Despite having such great bands, I don't understand, how shits like Korn, Nirvana, Black Sabbath are worshipped by people?

  • @axn36 Are you comparing Korn and Shitvana to Black Sabbath? If you don't like Sabbath there is something wrong with you.

  • @AngusShanks. I dislike sabbath, especially I started listening to sabbath reunion. Dio era was good, especially songs like heaven and hell.

  • @axn36 I love the Dio era too but I love the original Sabbath just as much. I 'm ok with you not liking the Sabs but putting them in the same sentence as Korn or Nirvana I don't get. Just other bands you hate I presume? I can't fucking stand Korn.

  • @AngusShanks. First of all, both nirvana and korn knows nothing about the basic of music. Korn's vocalist can't sing properly in scale, if you listen to their defective vocals first. Then comes nirvana and many alternative/ grunge bands, who appear with a depressing appearance & thought them as great artists of tragedy, but lack any form of guitar virtuosity, with an angst ridden voice & depressing lyrics.

  • @AngusShanks. I dislike sabbath for a different reason. I first listened to their song iron man. It is nothing at all. Calling iron man as rock or metal is far off the question. What kind of stupid composition is it? Most of the songs in Reunion released in 1999 were shit. Paranoid is a boring song.

  • @axn36 sabbath started it all,the bands you now listen to wouldnt be without "BLACK SABBATH"..remember that...

  • @804safety. Culture or music is such a thing, which you can't credit to one single handedly. Sabbath was only one of those pioneers. Other pioneers include Led Zep, Deep Purple as well. Later, Motorhead began the modern metal which influenced bands like Maiden. Sabbath was famous for power chord & negativism/ depressing ideas in music. For such stupid depression pattern, they can't be termed as musicians. Dio's music is far better than them (Holy Diver). Dio was Ozzy's contemporary.

  • @axn36 @axn36 'For such stupid depression pattern, they can't be termed as musicians.' Woaho! You can't say that! Sounds like you know 4 or 5 Sabbath songs. Really, sir, i beseech you to venture future into Sabbath. Check out Sabbath Bloody Sabbath or, my fav, Sabotage. The later stuff, esp Heaven & Hell and Mob Rules, is also fantastic.

  • @garvan. Heaven and Hell was a nice song in composition. Iron Man is their worst song.

  • @axn36 I'd say Paranoid is a worse song. I'm not found of it at all.

  • @garvan.Agreed. That's it. Most of the Sabbath songs lack melody. Paranoid is a good example. Try motorhead, judas priest or iron maiden or kiss. They are far better.

  • @axn36 I would agree if it wasn't for Kiss...

  • @axn36 wait, someone who writes depressing songs can't be 'termed as a musician?' Since when? So Chopin, Mozart, Beethoven, and the Beatles (in some songs) aren't musicians?

  • @axn36 "Can't be termed as musicians." WTF?!?! The members of Black Sabbath are much better musicians than you'll ever be. How many sabbath songs have you even listened to? One or two? Just cause you don't like a couple of their most famous songs doesn't mean that they are not good musicians. Besides everybody likes different things so you can't just talk shit about a band just cause you don't their particular style. Asshole.

  • @MaidenDio252. Obviously. If you want metal, it was Motorhead, not this Sabbath.

  • @axn36 You are a fucking moron who knows nothing about music.

  • @axn36 Dude Black Sabbath invented Metal. They are some of the greatest musicians ever.

  • @axn36 How can you like metal and not like Sabbath? Isn't that like liking swords and sorcery but not liking Lord of the Rings? Sabbath started it all, including Priest

  • @TheAdam159. There's no rule that if ur a metal fan, u must love sabbath. Many metal bands r far better than sabbath, especially maiden, metallica, megadeth, slayer, motorhead, death, annihilator & many more

  • @TheAdam159 At the Priest concerts this year before the band came on they played War Pigs on the PA and EVERYONE sang along to it, and when Rob mentioned Black Sabbath before this song the whole arena erupted. So it is my personal belief that all metalheads must like Sabbath as well as Priest

  • @TOSportsFan1990 u r probably right

  • @TOSportsFan1990 Were you in Vancouver?

  • @TOSportsFan1990 Imagine that pfft

  • @TOSportsFan1990 my two favourites metal bands,sabbath & priest

  • @TOSportsFan1990 yeah and iron maiden too

  • It's the stairway to heaven of judas priest

  • JUDAS PRIEST FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!

  • One of the best solos i've ever heard...

  • God damn what an amazing fucking song.

  • I remember the final of Teneessee concert movie. This song is a good close song!!!

  • the intro, the solo, the lyrics... PERFECTION, THIS SONG IS FUCKING PERFECTION ITSELF

  • Man has always the choise to live or die. That is the greatest thing in our miserable life.

  • The most underrated Priest song

  • tidak ada alasan untuk mengatakan tidak suka....yeah...

  • No, you don't hold any rights for this song. So why are you trying to profit off of Judas Priest by putting an ad before the video?

  • A lot like life,When you have had enough, thank God there is death.

  • @555julianfairbanks Actually they were listening to Better by You Better than Me.

  • köszönöm

  • Lyrics seems a gay declaration from Halford

"Yeah! I've left the world behind

I'm safe here in my mind

Free to speak with my own kind

This is my life, this is my life

    I'll decide not you "

  • @eckae shutup

  • @eckae if it makes him write epic lyrics for a song like this, more power to him.

  • I remember the first time I heard this song so many years back; like @BarryMcClure, I thought that the first solo was the greatest solo that I had ever heard. Then, when the 6:00 mark came, well..... so did I. This song is truly amazing.

  • The whole album has a special sound........the sound, that I miss now in 21.century

  • bow to tiptons solo then wait and bow to downings..

  • This isnt music! IS FUCKING POETRY!

  • @madisonsuicide Fed him, but he... :D TROLOLOLO

  • "Fed him a ham (hand?)"

Either way LOL LOL LOL LOL ROFLMAO

    Classic lame

  • @madisonsuicide "Fed him BY hand" dumbass.

  • @madisonsuicide Look. If you don't like Judas Priest, then go watch whatever it is that you call music. Stop being a fucking troll. And this song doesn't make me feel badass, it makes me wish I had the talent that Judas Priest has.

  • @MaidenDio252 well said bro

  • @madisonsuicide and this is one of their softer songs, you'd have a fuckn heart attack if you heard painkiller or jawbreaker. People love this music because it's innovative, dynamic, influential and strikingly impressive, and yes it definitely makes you feel bad ass for all those reasons, if you got a problem, well you can stick your soft cock music up your ass and suck Halfords gay cock.

  • @madisonsuicide Obviously you have never heared Painkiller

  • @madisonsuicide lol wtf you listen to your a mallcore faggot who trys and look cool for the slutty girls at your 6th grade class gtfo and leave the real music to real people

  • i listen over and over, it is woodpecker on his face, lmfao........... bukakkee during the lead part

  • @13thwarriorviking Wow you have fucking hearing problems. It's "no sign of life would flicker on his face."

  • One of my favorite songs. The guitar solo and the high notes make this an instant classic. The guitar completes the song, just like in Stairway to Heaven.

  • dude how is it going to cure cancer u stupid ass hole

  • @kevinpussyasshole Dude chill. It was just a metaphor for how great it is. You don't need to be a dick.

  • @kevinpussyasshole I guess you can't hear it....Thats sad >.<

  • I hate gays but halford is fucking best vocalist

  • @MyGiorguna I just hate it when gay men act all girly. Halford is the manliest gay person i've ever seen.

  • @MyGiorguna lol, retard

  • sabbath may have started metal but priest took to twin metallic guitar heaven......I think this is their best song

  • Some of the best guitar playing ever right here in this song.

  • THE BEST SOLO EVER FUCK ADDAMO

  • @blaxberg47 but Black Sabbath started with the dark themes in their music before Judas Priest. And its true, Maiden wouldn't be around without Priest and many other bands would say so too.

  • this a solo made by the gods... the metal gods

  • Thumbs up for the cure of SIDA to 3:10 to 4:30

  • Simply AMAZING!!

  • In all of the years of Rock and Roll this holds to being one of the best songs ever written, both music & lyrics. Thank God I have see this done live on stage many times.

    maddman1

  • @maddman18210 well don't thank god then, thank the priest.

  • This should have at least 1,000,000,000 views if there was any justice in the world.

  • he'd had enoughl. he couldn't take any more.....

  • This is to Judas Priest, to what One is to Metallica, and Stairway to heaven was to Led Zepplien.

  • @FdubErik why "One" replace it with Fade to Black.

  • Oooh this song always gives me chills

  • AND THEN HE DIIEEEEDD!!!!

  • @BarryMcClure

I agree. Absolutely! I was happy to hear this live 2 weeks ago live in Priest concert in Sofia! Priest forever!

  • This is absolutely fabulous. I remember watching a docu on danish tv in the late 80s with two guys who shot themself after listening to Judas Priest. I believe it was this song.

  • @ruderkonge1976 nope, it was "Blood Red Skies"

  • @archangelch nope it was "Better By You, Better Than Me"

  • @archangelch sorry dude, I was in another clip...(multi-youtube-channels open)

You are right. But without being cold or being an ass, listening to the good old Heavy Metal being wasted, isn't for everybody. I was hell-wasted many times, listening to Priest and Maiden, having the best times of my live !!!! Being very sarcastic, if I would be hell-wasted, and listen to Britney Spears, I surely would get nuts. And only God knows (maybe) what i would do. This is a fuckin' old controversy.

  • Comment removed

  • I think I know why there is not very many views in metal videos... Becuse metal fans buy there idols albums and listen to the album instead on youtube but IDoneYourMum should still have a big thanks for uploading this masterpiece so people who don't have bought this record can listen to it and then go and buy it! Thanks so much for uploading the stained class album :) Heavy Metal is the law!

  • Halford rulz

  • @maniacle !! Hell Yeah !!!

  • 3:11 - 4:42 - one of the greatest guitar solos i've ever heard, and thats saying alot. completely soul-melting

  • @BarryMcClure Definitely. One of my favorites.

  • @BarryMcClure de acuerdo para mi éste guitarrazo es perfecto, sobre todo en japon....

  • Maybe Judas Priest had someone to write their stuff in the 70's. Think about it...

Compare this album to the likes of Turbo, and even Painkiller. Yeah, Painkiller is an epic album, but it's about some metal messiah, with "laser bullets" << the fuck? I'm just saying that every album after British Steel have been very cliche, or IN YOUR FACE METAL, shallow kind of stuff.

  • @sinbysin666 THIS is who they are. They sold out in the 80s as far as I'm concerned. None of their 80s stuff compares to anything on sad wings, sin after sin and this.

  • @letekro are you telling me defenders of the faith was a sell out? i don't think so, a great album. after that they were just trying to compete with the new metal out. they never sold out dude, um-k!

  • @shafta99 Dumbing down the material for the masses is a sell out in my book. Are there good songs on Defenders of the Faith? Yes. But overall, they never reached their late 70s heights in terms of originality or technical excellence. Nothing wrong with trying to make some coin, but let's call a spade a spade, um-k?

  • @letekro JP's 80s stuff wasn't sell out maybe Turbo but the rest of the albums on that decade only evolved.
