The original really is a rather sad tune, when you know what it represents in the backstory.

The original song is associated in game with Bartz' Hometown, And mainly how his father left for reasons unknown to him at the time, and then his mother dying from a disease, all before he left to travel the world.

I saw an interview before for Hyadain regarding this song. He said he used an "imaginary language," which points to Esperanto or even a language he totally made up himself, more likely the first one.
