  • wow having gps is wonderful. thanks for TM link :)

  • Im gettin one of these..

  • @harrythepup go for the TK03b model, it has a remote unlike mine. its only about $100 on ebay too.

  • @spinnanz Cheers mate, looks like it did the job. Does it just send the GPS co-ordinates to you email or mobile phone then look at it on google maps?

  • @harrythepup there's 3 ways you can get the address, one is if its in online mode, you go to a website run by the gps traker company and it will show you on a map where the car is, or if the unit is in SMS mode I text it "address" and it will text me back the address its at, the 3rd way is if i ring the unit from my cell phone, the gps unit will pick up the call then hang up, then it will send my phone an internet link which I can click on and it will go online to google maps

  • @spinnanz That is bloody brilliant. I'm going to have a look at some on eBay shortly, You don't know of any good sellers do you.. Thanks again.

  • wow my stagea is of the RS4 kind i guess im going to put one in mine now cos of your vigalince did it have an imobaliser in it

  • @TheGhosteyez when I activate the horn with my phone, it also activates the immobilizer

  • im happy for you bro n they thought they were algood done n dusted but hold on police what are they doen here lol hahahahahaha

  • i love that you're able to set off the horn on your car as well, that's just awesome

  • Lol must be nice to know all your knowledge paid off

  • Would love to have heard their explanation for that one hahahaha

  • What was the reason for the cop telling you to put the camera down?

  • @mrghostnzl No idea, I was on the neighbors property anyway so he couldnt make me put it down

  • @spinnanz Was probably just to keep the guy at the door calm.

  • Great you got your car back.

  • where in nz is this??

  • @adamroyhawkes Christchurch, Papanui/Northcote area.

  • hey is that going to work with the battery out tho?

  • @dylancarnegie the GPS unit has a backup battery inside it, if someone ever cuts or disconnects the car battery, the GPS unit will text me to say power has been cut and then it will send me its GPS location every 3 minutes

  • great idea, yes the thing is they steal cars and get away with it pretty stupid really

  • Great result, well done.

  • This gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling inside :)

  • Sweet, happy for you! Hope they get some REAL punishment...idiots.

  • awesome!!!! well done stacey.

  • @manyouranidiot oops stacy...lol

  • Sad thing is, they won't even get jail time for this, unless the cops find drugs, etc, at the house.

  • Hahah what a crackup, nice work. Shithead thieves!

  • hmm, think its time i got a gps tracker.. is it easy/cheap to install it?

  • @nzdrift777 $160 from trademe, 2 hours for me to instal, 5 wires

  • @spinnanz are you able to put up a how to vid.

  • @curly3253 not need, its simple as,

    + power wire (car battery),

    + ignition wire (cig ligher),

    - earth wire (car body)

    - door open wire (door switch)

    - output wire to horn wire

  • Good on you. I need to get me of these

  • Awesome, what gps unit are you using?

  • @iflyrcmike TK103. I used the immobilizer relay to let me turn the horn on rather than using it to cut power to the motor.

  • Hahaha, fucking muppets!!
