Tbh every marital art has it strong points but boxing or kickboxing isn't really a art to me anyway I have done kickboxing I find that wing chun is the art for me it is build for small people I am the smallest in the school I havnt had to use wing chun yet but it there just in case if I need it

@malganus4 first off, haver, as you can see I don't live in EU, in fact I live in Israel, and I know what is the difference between krav-maga's techniques because two, I in fact train in Ninjutsu, and I know how powerful it is and how useful can the Ninja's arsenal can be, because those weapons may be made of simple house-hold items, but they can be very useful in experienced hands... not like you will ever understand... you just prefer to kick always between the legs and then say you're cool...

An elbow block would cause the kicker a lot of pain, unless you use your hands to let the foot slide and then grab it with your hands and shoulders, then it just goes on with breaking the leg or thousand more variations of what to do with an unbalanced opponent.

i d like to point you that good strikes cannot be blocked and leave lethal injuries or break bones,like with ranged weapons,who fires first- wins.I don't know what u are talking about ,i just said in my imo Ninjutsu as hand to hand isn't effective now,there are many more much better styles,this doesn't mean i dnt respect it.And i dnt like theorycraft,cause what happens irl isn't even close to theory,that's all training multiplied by ultra fast react times(so fast u can't think at that speed).

i haven't found anyone who can PROVE that ninjutsu contains martial arts...

there are lots of old japanese books that say it wasn't though, do you know about the shinobi manuals???

Those Japanese books you reffered to were most likely written by samurai, the shinobi's enemy. Any Japanese martial artist would know Ninpo is an art.

I think what you meant to say is "Ninjutsu isn't JUST an martial art".

I doubt you know what a martial art is. No evidence you say? Are you blind? a martial art is one that incorperates an offensive hand to hand technique. That should be for you.

It was not a martial art when the shinobi were roaming. They mearly mastered assassination and infiltration. You don't learn how to kill or infiltrate in Ninpo... Even the schools in Japan don't teach this... That is common knowledge of any Ninjutsu practioner.

@diljercat So basically ninjitsu is fake then? Get real. I don't think there claiming to be invinsible. This is a demonstration of technique. Any real technique exicuted properly well in fact work. Of course is someone comes at you with a weilding weapon such as a sword you would most likely be injured. However understanding your own strengths as well as weakness and your oponents can give you an edge in combat.

@diljercat ...except for the fact that Hatsumi also has disarming techniques, so if you were to come at him with a sword, you wouldn't be keeping that sword for very long. Plus, the point of ninjutsu is that you wouldn't be able to detect him in the first place, so you wouldn't really be able to run at him with a sword if you don't know there's anyone out there to attack.

@diljercat Though I will admit that the video does make it look a bit corny, especially towards the beginning where it doesn't even look much like he's hitting them. But he's just not doing full-contact at full-speed because he obviously wouldn't want to maim the crap out of all the other actors in the video. These are merely demonstrations simply used to help teach the techniques to others--if it was a real fight, it wouldn't be recorded like this. Please don't underestimate this guy.
