I hate when people want to throw the word "hoarder" around for couponers, by that reasoning then anyone that shops at Sams Club, Costco or BJs is also a Hoarder because what does anyone need with 32 slices of pound cake or 12 cans of olives. Dude...we need a Frys or Albersons here too. They rarely have buy one get one deals like that on meat at the stores here. I've only seen it on chicken, and that's maybe twice a year, and I worked in a grocery store for 2 years lol.

@bwalke03 My Fry's (in AZ) makes you come back through the line if you want it to double to a dollar. if its for a dollar or more, they will do it no problem.

I get so confused when you say your .55 or .75 coupon doubled to $1.00. To me that is just bringing it up to $1.00. My two grocery stores that double really DOUBLES all coupons under $1.00. So a .55 coupon in my store doubles to 1.10. well you will see .55 com up twice and the same for the .75. But I wish I had it like your stores where .25 and .30 coupons are $1.00

@ILoveToScrub it was in last week's sales circular. This week is double couponing for Friday, Saturday and Sunday only. I checked this morning. I also signed up for their newsletter so it was in there also. I'm going to try to make it there on Sunday. I'm waiting for the penny saver first! I guess PM got hip to Stop & Shop and Shop Rite who double coupons and they are in bankruptcy too so I guess anything to get people into the stores! lol

Oh how i wish I lived in a state with no sales taxes on food and lower taxes on everything else. Our regular sales tax is 9.75% and on food its 7.(something)% :-(. I didnt even know kroger had the nivea on sale. I need to go up there to see if the couponers in my area have already cleaned them out!

@Brena1971 I asked when they opened and they said they do.. However, i have not used any there as of yet. Yes go check them out... I stocked up on canned veggies when they first opened.. I got green beans for like 35 cents a can.. of course since gas has went up so have the veggies.. but still great savings even without coupons. Always check the meat counter !! I also got porkchops for like $1.30 a lk.. sirloin steaks for aobut 4.00 a pack.. I got tons of meat. :)

I use to mainly shop at Kroger but not I seem to have moved over to Publix..just gotta go where the FREE is :-).
