lol.. Americans buy everything on contract :/ many bought houses for contract and lost them, after that came financial crisis and they still want everything on contract more than ever..
@isokessu, you are a complete idiot comparing housing loans to ATT internet service. the contract here is for internet service. if you agree to internet service for a certain period of time, then you get the netbook at a discount. People are not taking out loans to buy Nokia Booklets. You are not understanding the concept. I think you are just jealous of Americans so you try to insult them on this site (which is an American website, by the way)
@sndblstr. Wtf how am I jealous -.- we have that same shit in Finland and Nokia is Finnish anyway but my point is that why people can't just use cash or something when they buy pc. People shouldn't buy something before they have money to buy it. Btw YouTube is global website and most of it's users are probably in India
@sndblstr. Wtf how am I jealous -.- we have that same shit in Finland and Nokia is Finnish anyway but my point is that why people can't just use cash or something when they buy pc. People shouldn't buy something before they have money to buy it at least with pc's and phones if you have to use just one internet service like at&t. It's like buying a fridge where you have to buy food from Walmart for years -.- Btw YouTube is global website and most of its users are probably from India
$299 with 2 year AT&T contract... or $599 without. ATT data plan is $60 a month, so your paying 300 up front and 1200 over 2 years ($1500) Total. OUCH.
I'd rather take my $1500 and buy a real laptop and worry about the few times a year I'm not near a WiFi hotspot to connect to the net.
Nokia phones can't even sync with windows operating system! lol imagine a Nokia pc! sure it may use a windows operating system but omg! bad mix. Still they look nice.

i juz dont understand..why does a laptop needs a contract? does it has sim card in it that can use for voice calling?
noriman25 2 years ago
Yeah, it's got a 3G modem built in (like the Advent 4213/ECS G10IL) so you don't have to use a dongle.

If u r in the U.S this laptop needs a contract with AT&T the only reson u need a contract is so u can use AT&T's 3G network anywhere
