Actually I was guessing. I think the reason why The Wiggles and Captain Feathersword eliminated Verses 6-10 of "This Old Man" is because they shortened the song just by using Verses 1-5 not that there's anything wrong with it.

Here's who sang each verse of "This Old Man" on the Short Version.
