I like the older trucks for the simpler controls. New trucks have to much electric garbage on them that can cause a apparatus to fail at the wrong time. The older apparatus was simpler to teach pump theory on.

You cant beat an American La France Century Series. Its what I started on and what I will retire with....simply the best.

3 of the 5 trucks my department has are mack's. 2 MC Model's and an R Model mack tanker. You cant stop a mack.

yea but the onlt problem is that they stopped making mack fire trucks
Ya but you can still get a mack as the truck, but it has to be taken to another dealer to be built.
