At first I was in favor of Daigo, thinking Youichi abandoned ship to appear as though the victim of rough contact. But on Youichi's on board camera during the replay Daigo does intrude too far leaving it impossible to maintain a proper line for Youichi. It's not even a pass either because it is just too sudden and way before the clipping point. Daigo got too ahead of himself.

D1GP rules state contact can be made during tandem as long as it does not effect the lead drivers line. The line wasnt effected, he just kinda backed out of it.
