  • Can someone tell me the painter of this great painting and it's name??

  • @Lithiumoxid Im pretty shure its Claude Monet

  • @RollingPangcake Thank you very much, but fortunately I've already found the name of that painting. It is in fact Claude Monet and the painting's name is "Vétheuil Sur Seine" .

  • why does everyone keep calling this a song?

  • hussy song¨...

  • I LOVE THIS SONG!!!!!<3333333333

  • He is the painter/composer... playing scapes of places that we have never been, but we recognize...

  • Even on this music there got to be dislikes.. i simply can't understand those people. :(

  • @aNdzel0t Bieber-fans and Kanye West-fans is my guess

  • I visited his grave in France an left a single rose <3

  • i just click on this video and tab over to something else expecting to hear beautiful music. instead i hear "AAAHHHGHGH ITS ME FRED"

  • OH GOD that Fred ad that comes up before this video should be illegal. I'm trying to relax.

  • Tempo......metronome

  • @qokoon what's your probleme?? I'm a teenager and loooove debussy but the "garbage" from today as well...don't have such prejudices...btw if you're FORCED by your parents to play piano it doesn't mean you have to LIKE the music...

  • i would kick 4 peoples asses

  • I am learning one of his pieces arranged for guitar and I started listening to his pieces. My new favorite composer.

  • today,, im gonna hold my wifes hand and go for a long walk together and tell her hooowww muuuchhh i looovee heeerrrr. THIS IS OUR LOVELY PIECE.

  • This is an absolute delight.

  • The 4 dislikes are probably children and teenagers who'd rather listen to the garbage of today instead of being forced by their parents to attend piano lessons and sit down to practice. Don't worry kids, you will thank your parents later after you get over yourselves.

  • I love this piece so much, it's absolutely breathtaking.

  • there are actually dislikes...

  • I love the scenery of the background, and the tone of Debussy. Beautiful.

  • Why do some people think that a movie about 'invisible invaders in Moscow, Paris, London and New York' will appeal to Debussy fans? :o)

  • Amazing

  • Debussy's a master of peace and tranquillity

and listening to this makes me wonder of all the good things I have in life.

    very motivational =)

  • @catherineliem THE SAME ;D

  • One word - "Amazing"

  • Intemporel.................................

  • was adapted into a big band era hit--believe it or not!

  • @windstorm1000 I think so or pretty certain was used in some films of that era... Lovely....

  • @trinariciuti NAHA I see it to

  • incredible...

  • 3 dislikes? Who the fuck would dislike such a piece?

  • what the hell!! am I the only one who sees the painting slightly out of focus and then in focus again?

  • @trinariciuti No, don't worry, you are not alone. The clouds, the water and the flowers seem to be a sort of pulsating. Just a technical thing, I think. So all under control ;-)

  • @trinariciuti The uploader used iMovie, and when you put an image in a video it will either move away or towards the camera. If you want to make the image still it will move slightly and that will happen. There is an option to make it stay still, but the uploader didn't do it. That's okay though!

  • @SwingingVoid I meant to imply that Debussy's music is so intensely emotional that by contrast everyday life feels dull and dreary. I'm sorry that you didn't understand that.

  • @SwingingVoid ...What?

  • I love this music, it's so wonderfull. I love it so much !!

  • Listening to Debussy makes me feel like I have been a cold machine my entire life, suddenly aroused into a state of being self aware by his music. Floors me every time.

  • who is playn this beauty

  • Knowing that I used to be able to play this... and am furious at myself for forgetting how to play such a beautiful piece. >.<

  • K, if you don't like Debussy, and for the 3 a-holes that disliked this video, ummm you can go die! jk lol.

    I love Debussy's music.....

  • listen to some of the harmonies near the end...they are very modern

  • My favourite piece ever, doing homework is alwyas awesome when I have this on repeat.

  • @Missleanneiscool Haha, That's exactly what I'm doing right now.

  • 2:36

  • wow that music is so relaxing :)

  • Its Like Sitting in Heaven n listenin to angels play a tune!

  • this song sounds like a fistful of notes chucked together to my untrained ear, but I can't stop listening to it... can't... ignore... the... replay... button oooooghhh...

  • I am in love with Claude Debussy.

  • Absolutely beautiful. I'm learning this for my cello, its very difficult but oh so rewarding to play this well.

  • @JeanetteVilhelmsen It is a Monet, I believe

  • @BrynnieAndKayleigh thanx.. do you know the name of the paiinting? :)

  • @JeanetteVilhelmsen No, I dont. You might just have to do an extensive google image search.

  • @BrynnieAndKayleigh i tried... xD haha, and i just can't find it :( But thanx for the help! :D

  • @JeanetteVilhelmsen The painting is a Monet, its the Banks of the Seine, Vétheuil, dated 1880. your welcome ;)

  • Ah, so sublime!

  • thank you claude debussy. I can honestly say I love you.

  • Sometimes I have to stop listening to Debussy before I cry.

  • No other composer speaks through their music quite like Debussy...

  • @qwertydrajb try with Ravel :) both amazing composers...

  • @qwertydrajb Definitely!

  • @qwertydrajb Um... Joe Hisiashi and Nobuo Uematsu

  • How could even one person dislike this?

  • things change in life. this is the glue that keeps it all together. thankyou for keeping me sane.

  • Beautiful. I'm trying to learn to play this and it's good to hear what it sounds like when someone's not tripping all over their own fingers.

  • Such an expressive piece contrasting beautifully with Monet's impressionistic colourful painting.

  • Buah colega, es preciosa

  • @isa971000 Di que sí, Ismaaaa!!! colegaaaa!!! jajaja

  • So beautiful, I should have listened to it much more long ago. Debussy wrote some lovely music.

  • true beauty at its best :) i'm a teen and i hate that ugly pop shit... this is real music.

  • Such futuristic melodies... Beautiful....

  • i always thought of Debussy as a surrealist instead...

  • This is the best version of this on U-Tube. And Revierie is the best thing Debussy ever did, even better than Clair de Lune

  • @44032 Girl with the flaxen hair is better in my opinion

  • No dislikes. 40 000 over thousand poeple.

  • ma cazzo che bello

  • classics are the best.... hands down

  • who performs this piece?

  • I wish I lived during the romantic era...lots of great artists and pianists during this time

  • @idis1abad wasnt he an impressionist?

  • @MissLatinoChic He (referring to Debussy?) was more of a symbolist than impressionist.

  • wonderful music and wonderful comments, been listening to some hip-hop beats here recently and the comments on most are so disgusting; full of ignorance, disrespect, hate and pride.

  • My favorite part is 0:49-1:04. I love this piece, it reminds me of a beautiful dream..

  • soothing and sad in a peaceful way...Debussy is amazing..thanks for uploading :D

  • This might be one o f the most beautiful piano pieces ever written.

  • A vibration in the air that opens one and exposes the heart.

  • Anyone know where I can get this score, I've searched everywhere and have not found it. If someone could tell me or if someone is interested and you switch to another score inform me, I have a lot of great music. Thanks
