  • ive done this twice and it feels great because not all of the soliders have family that can make it there to see their return and seeing families reunited

  • I live in Los Angeles. Is there a Welcome Home A Hero Program here in Los Angeles? I would love to be a part of it. Thanks in advance.

  • The people who take the time to do this are wonderful!!

  • its really the least that most of us can do for you. We cant let happen to you all what happened to those soldiers coming home from Korea and Viet Nam. That cant happen again.

  • Thank You Soldiers for your sacrifice & Thank You to the beautiful people that are there to offer appreciation. We honor you.

  • Great to have people like this. If they weren't there welcoming the soldiers, these soldiers just might think they were on duty for nothing.

  • Great to see there are those that care .

  • wow when i came home i was hit with an egg....i wish they would do that when my men and I came home the day after 4 of our friends died..

  • These people should work just as hard to keep the soldiers safe in their home country.

  • Then why call them soldiers?

  • Does anyone know if there's a program like this for LAX?

  • I received a welcome home such as this in FEB '06 and it was awesome. I've always wanted to thank those people, even though I did there, and tell them how much it meant to me, to know that there are people who di it everyday, for the the soldiers and not for themselves. Thank you.

  • Our men & women in the military are stationed all around the world protecting the rights and freedoms of us and our allies around the world. God Bless the Peace Keepers!!! Thanks men & women of the U.S. Military!! You are the Best!!

  • Thank you, God, for people like this who have the opportunity, ability, and DESIRE to do something like this for our men and women risking their lives for our country and our freedom. God bless them all!!

  • All I can say is, THANK YOU!!!

I'm a Gulf War vet, from '87-'92...my wife was the only one who met me, on my home coming (not that that is bad)...something like this would have had me in tears.

  • Moron.

    proof:

Something is happening to the brain structure of the 1991 Gulf War veterans — especially among those soldiers who complain of multiple symptoms arising from duty performed in routing Iraqi troops that had occupied Kuwait.

"We found that two regions of the brain had significant shrinking compared with other soldiers who have lower levels of symptoms," Roberta White, chairman of environmental health at the Boston University School of Public Health

  • LOL...and your response has what to do with my post?

For your info, I'm asymptomatic...NOTHING is wrong with me; you on the other hand...

  • I'm a left coast liberal and I would be right there in line shaking those hands. Liberals are not against the soldiers they're against our men and women dying over lie after lie after lie. If the left coast liberals had it their way, these soldiers would ALL be home with their families where they belong!

  • dmangot, tho we differ in views, may the right to do so never change...that was very well said and I respect your point of view!

  • This is how it's done in "fly over" country.

Left-coaster's, Nancy Pe-looser and John "White-Flag" Murtha supporters need not click...the Patriotism shown here will make you embarassed and angry.

A BIG Gig'Em goes out to Bert Brady, the US Troops, and the President...Thank all of you for what you do!!!

  • Now now... not ALL of us on the left coast are left wing liberals! :)

  • outstanding!!!
