Oh dear god! I know I'm done hating her voice online, but speaking from a professional term, those few notes in the middle were awful. Her voice was WAYYYYYY to closed.

well i'm in a magnet choir ( so i do sing) and i can sing this song just like her maybe a bit better not sure.so when im listening to her live i know that she's hitting some wrong notes.

She's been working on her head voice.

That's why if you look at "Ever Dream" from this year's Artmania Festival

she hits the high notes easier and clearly.

@LazyBoy9476 I actually liked that version of SS from that concert... Of course it won't sound the same as with Tarja! Anette doesn't have the same vocal range and isn't a classical singer! If you don't like this concert, fine. But you can't say she sucks, period. Because she has improved, a lot!

@LovingLife411 It might sound shocking but LazyBoy is right! Anette Olzon cannot sing, cannot dance, and def cannot dress. Next album will be crucial, IMO. Either NW makes it or breaks it up in pieces. Anette cannot pull things together. fans are disappointed. You can see that on every video on youtube. I do agree with Lazyboy wholeheartly

Her 2nd album i have been hearing very strong reviews. She already completed it. so we will see. Tarja will be okay on her own.

She killed it. It is very mixed. Some songs were epic.. some songs lets just say should have been chopped.

Tarja on the other hand should, no offense, she cracks. Probably from overworking her voice all these years. I actually enjoyed her Poison cover, it was sick and twisted and that's how the song should be. I'll agree that some were epic, because I do have some favorites. But any artist should know how to manage time.

@LovingLife411 She had been vocal about it back in NW days. it is obviously you do not know jack about music industry so attempt to understand that there is paragraph called completion and release where the artist is given a date with obligation to finish an album. if an artist fails to complete and relase the album, he/she is facing a lawsuit/loss of money to record label. YES they do use autotune for Anette. compare to studio version and live versions. also from concert to concert.

@LovingLife411 there are 2 products out there that do real time autocorrect pitch - one by Roland/Antares and 1 I BET YOu Tuomas has used TC-Helicon Voice Modeling because it is made for Korg keyboards. I guess you didnt know that? did you? Tuomas'growling in master passion greed song was enhanced using that software. i am in music industry. One of the bands we recorded their 1st album took us 2 years to start and finish. No one records a song in 1 chunk no matter how good you are.

What I did say is that they do not use it live. That I DO KNOW for a FACT. The don't use it in concerts otherwise she wouldn't "suck" as much as you all think she does.

You are 24? you claim to be a pro and know it all? So far, not a single NW member put a concert with Anette to be his/her. Anette walked out in the middle of a concert where the tickets were above 100 bucks is not fair to fans. As far as we know, they didn't get a refund.

@LovingLife411 it is a cut and paste then blend all the tracks together. Every track of music is recorded separately in most cases and then edited either by replaying the track or by digital edit. After all tracks are recorded it goes to master mix where everything gets blended by sound engeneer. the entire album gets polishing track by track.
