2008 Yamaha R6

Hey question for everyone who has an r6,2008+. So I just got my 2011 r6 about a week ago, and want to know if it will power wheelie at it's powerband off just gas alone (as in, no dumping the clutch, just give it the gas or WOT). Now my intention is so it DOESNT do a power wheelie, but I rather know if it does since I'm still working in the break in period. I weigh 135 lbs without gear (with full gear probably around 140 I'd say?), and I'm 5'6". Any ideas?

I'm 6'4" and have a R6 2008 Carbon. The seat height is perfect, its a little shorter from the seat to the handle bars that my 2006 Kawasaki ZX6R (that I lowsided into a tree out in the country lanes of Essex, UK, dislocating my shoulder in the process :) But the R6 from 2006 onwards is such a nice bike. A dream machine. Gotta be the best looking of all the Japanese bikes I think. I think I want to dump my girlfriend and marry my bike.. lol

@ohman1013 You should be fine... My buddy is 6'2 and he thinks the bike is perfect... the best thing to do is to go to a dealership and sit on them..

@ohman1013 The r6 is a good choice for taller riders. It has the tallest seat height out of all the sportbikes

@ohman1013 I'm the same height and I wouldn't recommend the R6. I bought one a year ago and it wasn't a big deal at first because it is what I got used to because it was my first bike. Now I'm thinking I should have went with an R1. :o

You would look bigger on an R1 because of the lower seat height.....

@o0jun0o hey man im 5'9'' and i do fine on the bike (09 r6). i have moved to now wearing boots when riding and it fits way better than what it use to so if you wear boots while it should be a good fit. if you dont it will be fine just not as convenient as riding a gsxr lets say.
