When I was little, and my brother first joined the Army (I wasn't too young) I sat on 'Santa's' lap and he asked what I wanted..I told him right away to send my brother home <3 I love my big brother and I'm very proud of him. I won't be seeing him this year, which is sad..I'll be out of state visiting my Aunt but I will always love him. :') I'm proud to know I'm going to serve our wonderful country by Joining the United States Air Force<3

I was driving my husband to his drill the other morning, when i heard this...it made me cry! I'm pregnant with our 4th child...but even without the pregnancy hormones, I am sure i would cry. It is such a sweet sad song. My husband has been deployed twice and they are preparing for their third deployment which will take place in a few months. I know last year right before he came home this is all I wanted...him home for Christmas. Praying for all the soldiers and their families!!! ♥

The very first time I heard this song I cried. And everytime I hear it I still cry. My brother has gone over sea's four times since he joined the Army. He's home now but may have to go over again, He has two teenage daughters and two son's. Every day they wish that their daddy was home. I miss him when he's gone and I worry. But this song means so much to me I just have to cry.

While he has been gone my baby brother has been born and he wasn't able to be here for it, he won't get to see him till he is atleast a year old, and I graduate this year. so many things he'll miss.

This is one of the best songs i've ever heard. It rips out my heart every time I hear her sweet little voice. I've also got to add my thoughts to everyone elses about the 75 dislikes........... If you don't like America, go to Afghanistan or Libya or Iraq where they tell you what you like and don't like. And if you protest or argue, they kill you. Maybe that will make you stop and think a lottle bit. Though they were never active duty, my dad and bro both served, and my grandpa served in WWII.
