sorry, i thought i was posting for a different Diane Bish vid. I meant to say about this performance is that its very baroque (duh) but she tells the story very well with timing and voicing without it being out of context, it doesn't need all the texture and voicing other periods demand. Diane Bish reigns supreme! bravo!

the middle part of this is brilliant especially at 2:03, sounds simple but timing is everything, i get lost in this moment!

everyone has said it. Diane Bish's articulation, timing and voicing is heaven sent. People may not understand what it takes to have those 3 things together on all of these different instruments in different giant rooms. In coral ridge she is bright and crisp, in this large echo chamber she is sensitive to the millisecond with how long she holds each note. bravo!
