How did Grover not understand what Ernie was doing after seeing the "N" at 0:45 but, when Grover saw the "M" at 1:17, how did he understand then? (It's strange that the "M" made him understand but the "N" didn't make him understand).

@antsamthompson9 The real beauty in this sketch is that, whenever they did Ernie & Bert, Oz would play straight man to Henson, while in Kermit & Grover it was the other way around. In this one, however, with both of them in the comedic roles, they're both trying to upstage one another, hence the reason they're both adding lib like crazy! You wouldn't see that today in the modern Sesame Street
