Absolutely wonderful. I have been wondering how to do this for years. I can finally play my favorite old game that I played as a little kid: "Stardust" by James M. Burton. I haven't figured out how to install/run basilisk on my main OS (GNU/Linux) yet, but just so I could follow your tutorial exactly, I did this within my windows xp virtual machine (Emulating Mac OS inside an emulation of Windows). It ran surprisingly very SMOOTH.I will try obtaining and testing basilisk2 for linux later.Thanks!

Well, I have solve the problen, it's simple:

I have five partitions in my Hard Drive named C to G. The problem consist in bad pointing of the CD ROM letters configured in the emu, in this case pointing to partitions D and E, then, this letters must be changed by the real CD or DVD letter, in this case, my DVD writer is H.

When mine starts it has only a floppy disk with a ? In it. Any reason why iot wont work for me.

Also the main reason I want this is for Asterax. Can I play this on it too? Do I ahve to dl it and put it in a folder or how does that work.

make sure the "starterdisk" is in the "Installed Disks" list as seen at 2:30 in this video. It should work.

I'm not sure. I would assume it will work as long as it supports system 7 on a 68k machine.

Download the game and put it somewhere on your computer's hard drive, you should be able to access it from the emulator.
