If you look at the two holes, one over and one under the strings on the body. There are three knob things in each that are the tuning heads.

So, if I wanted, I'd be able to plug in my own headphone amp and play from that instead of using the built-in one, right?

@Valkodu yes. the switch will add distortion to the amp out as well as the headphone out, though.
