  • Have you ever undertook a research study about occultism(witchcraft) practice in RDC to disclose lies ,truth and myths surrounding the subject?.What instruments will you use to determine if a person accused of witchcraft practice is indeed innoncent or guilty of an esoteric crime which to my opinion is out of reach for forensic investigation.Learning can sometime set us free therefore i am here to learn .Peace

  • ou va le monde

  • peace to those children!!!!

  • I agree with you on one point when you said that Christianity is the cause of problem in your community, but you need to understand that everything these pastors are doing is not written in the Bible and Jesus is not involves in such adventure, they're just using Jesus name but are not Jesus followers. personally I totally disagree with what these stupid pastors are doing but I do believe in Jesus because I know what these people are doing is not as I said written in the bible.

  • Sorry, but whom I you responding to?

  • C du nimporte quoi, ya-t-il de preuve de la sorcelerie. ?

  • ur so right this is bullshit pauvre enfatns accuser de crime impossible no one is there to protect them by all mean GOD bless me with lump some of money iam builting an orphan un the congo.

  • for those who cant understand let me say this! itch craft is natural. religion(christanity, islam, judaism, and all these other bullshit ass doctrines) are not. so my point is any body that commits an act of violence against an african child should die.

.fuck jesus and any body that dont like what i say about him!!

  • Anybody who commits a crime against an African child should be punished. But I disagree with you about the root of the problem. The root problem is an old thinking that exists in some of our societies whereby somebody has to be made responsable for one's misfortunes, a so called witch". And this thinking has survived until today despite some people being christians. In Angola it's not pastors but rather fetish priest who do this accusations towards kids.

  • So christianity is not the cause. By the way you actually mean African traditional beliefs as being natural not witchcraft which is seen everywhere on the continent as being evil. I respect your opinion but you have to remember that monotheistic religions are just one sort of expression of faith and therefore natural.

  • i know in my comunity/family christianity is the cause for every problem we have. straight up. christians are the stereotypical blacks that you see on all the movies and degrading television shows. all thye robers murderers child rapist in my comunity come straight out of thed church(no lie) say what you will but witch hunts are a european invention. as a matter of fact capital punishment and all other major forms of warfare are europeans creations.

africans didnt kill their children in the past

  • Witch hunt is not only European you'd be surprised how people have been accused in the past. But as said Children weren't accused in the past. As for the realities of christianity in the US and on the continent they are different. As for evil and religion you have always had and even on the continent had devious and evil characters. The question is, is it the content or the surrounding issues which

    are the problem?

  • In the congo when things in the family aren't going well, the fingers are always pointed at poor little kids as ndoki that is their thougts process so ignorants and full of shit.

  • YANGO PASTEUR OYO!AYEBI LINGALATE?bayebisiyo bato nionso bayokaka englais?

  • R.I.P Victoria Climbie.

  • Is this the other name of the woman you were referring to in the other comment?

  • No, Victoria Climbie is the Congolese girl that was murdered by her aunties in London earlier in the decade-Je pense que c'est d'elle que tu parlais.

  • things never change america suffered that same ideology and burned anyone especially women in america for being a witch or so called practicing withccraft.

  • the first one being a black woman by the name of tutu oba..whose father was born in the orisha region of west africa..that is yorubaland..thats where 'voodoo' comes from. just thought id drop that.

  • Very sad!

  • the bottom line is poverty, and there one thing i found very desteurbing about christianity ,i found now where in the bible where god said that one person can have another person as a slave but yet we saw apartheid and the slavery .while the white people went to church but still the message did not get into thier heart .

kindoki is real becouse our ancestor did not know god anyway so therefore the devil is also real and this is his work .

  • Thank you very much for this video. Every point raised here is very pertinent to our present condition. The essence of the problem is POVERTY & OPPRESSION. You don't find these problems in materially rich countries. As Faydeen has put it brilliantly, when the Belgians came to Afrika, what they did do? They got rid of our religions, our spiritual traditions, and imposed upon us their religion. (s) The issue, my brother, is for us to start re-viewing how we see Christianity! simple as!

  • That's wat happened when our ancestors had their own religion and traditions but colonialist changed everything. generations being brain-washed with something else.

That country called 'CONGO' needs more than divine intervention, it would take God himself to physical come down & help those peolpe..

Is there any govenment in congo? Coz it doesn't seem so....The gov.needs to close all these stupid churches doing rediculus exorcism. Well I pray for the next generation of congolese kids..

  • Wow this is painful to watch and hear P. Yet it is good that you confront the bro's and sisters with their lopsided and romanticized view on the history, culture, religiosity and the present day politics of Africa. And it best be you. Yah Love

Ps I've sent you an pm and e-mail

  • Dream I am with you on this one!

  • It sounds to me like the crowd of people was more deranged than the woman accused of being a witch and they would likely kill her. They may not have intended to but if she was being MOBBED there's a good chance that withoug the intervention of the elder, she would have been killed. Also it a SAD day for the universe when CHILDREN are being expelled from their homes and labeled as witches. What is the world coming to?

  • I agree with you. Despite the fact that I think she was deranged, I think that the behaviour of that crowd was even more deranged. This is sadly the common trait of groups of people around the world that are mostly ignorant; when they are faced with something that is beyond their comprehension or when they are desperate they do crazy stuff.

  • Happy 420!

  • This is very depressing to listen to. I can't believe that they are taking the lives of innocent people based on an absurd assumption that they are witches.

If this is what religion is promoting, then I do not understand why people are continuously following. This goes to show that religion is causing more conflict than anything else.

It also baffles when people use religion to justify cruel and unfair behavior, which is why I chose not to believe.

    Thanks for posting! :-)

  • I was reading about this a few months back. This is ridiculous. Another reason why I don't believe in religion. So basically I could get you beaten to death if I don't like you by saying that you are a witch? Parents could get rid of their children by claiming that they are witches? The thought of this just leaves me in awe.

Looking forward to part 2. I would like to know what the church's take on this is.

  • Great point Dream! :-)

  • PEOPLE give religion a bad name. A lot of atrocities and wars are done in the name of religion. But the actions of imperfect, or even wicked people do not rule out the existence of religious truth.

  • Every religion has it's dark past. They are all founded on dark pasts. Religion is man made. The main purpose of religion is to control large groups of people.

  • Religions with dark pasts are man-made. But religious truth comes from a higher source. All man-made religions had there start at the ancient tower of Babel. If you study about the religion of ancient Babylon, you'll see common themes that run thru-out the world's religions. The only difference is that each culture has given these Babylonish beliefs their own twist.

  • Be mindful, the Scriptures have "false friends". And you can identify these "friends" by their works or "fruits" as the Bible puts it(Matthew 7:20). People aren't reading their Bibles nowadays. That is why so many are being misled. Christendom used to burn people at the stake for trying to understand the Scriptures.

  • I feel for these children. But really, mankind has got to own up to his own badness. The God of the Bible has turned the world over to men, because earlier in history his sovereignty was rejected. So now we are reaping the bad results that come from men ruling over other men. Read Ecclesiastes 8:9 and Jeremiah 10:23.

  • While there are man-made things, there are also things wonderfully made by a Grand Creator. The Scriptures can be considered God's letter to man. By acquainting ourselves with them, we can get to know the Creator and understand the issues going on in the world.

  • Thanks for the video.

  • Christianity or religion as a whole is actually not the problem. It could be politics or some other on which people can depend on. The problem here is that when a group of people have a particular belief,in this case that fatality is the work of someone, and that additionally the situation is one of misery, they end up doing unthikable things.

  • Religion and politics work hand in hand. Before Democracies, there were Theocracies. The church still holds a lot of power in politics. Too much if you ask me.

  • The situation that I describe here was unthinkable of 20 years ago, and christianity was already the religion of the majority of congolese.

As for the position of the church I can tell you of the few congolese catholic representatives that I've seen in the media. They condemn and distance themselves from this practice. Those cases actually occur in fake backyard churches.

PS: In Angola there is a similar situation. But there it is traditional healers who accuse and perform on children.
