I can only see one reason that someone would dislike this. They don't like Leonard's beard.
Seriously though, it is sad that some people have such a problem with the Jewish people, that they hate all things Jewish. Some people are just so full of hate that they cannot help themselves.
Glad you and the others here enjoyed watching this. Nimoy is a good man and a great actor/director. Let us just hope that his days with Star Trek are not yet over.

It is an option that someone disliked the video because of that, but they could have also disliked it because they dislike all religion, because they thought it was dull, because they didn't agree with it, because they wanted to troll, or any number of other reasons. Jumping to the conclusion that it's because of Judaism is premature.
Where'd he get the Talid? Yes, I know there's a brief BLIP edited out, but.... Anyway, yesterday before services [Christ Church, EUREKA! Ca], the Pastor was talking to a congregant, saying something about 'live long & prosper' and trying to do the Salute. I had to set matters straight and told him how Nimoy came up with the idea.... Shin- right. I forgot which letter it was. Wow- I didn't know that Leonard Simon Nimoy was such a good 'Cantor'! :]
Oh lord, I practiced too Leonard. I practiced without even knowing why, then I saw Star Trek and thought "damn well I guess I'm not the only one"
