Frusciante is like a thought fragment of Hendrix...Hendrix was pretty discouraged by everything -this world...but he didn't abandon us, and he'll soon be coming back with unimaginable force..."don't you shoot him down, he's got to stay here"...and be willing to take a bullet - from him and for him
Watching this and watching a more recent interview with John Frusciante, you can really see how drugs damaged him mentally... He is so much clearer and fluent in his speech here...
@JaLaRu94 Yep and I think drugs effected his playing skills as well. Don't get me wrong he's still one of the best guitarist alive but I'm sure he would be so much better today if he wouldn't have been a junkie.
wow! fucking amazing...jimi was sheer brilliance and pure genius...it sounded like a bunch of layed down guitars, but it wasnt it was just him-one guitar
omg that guy looks like this guy that plays something with like his hands and he like makes sounds that show emotion like god and human touch.....stop n listen and hear the sound of earthly words.....hearing hidden sounds...like enough of me.....ive had it im gonna play some fuckgin music fuck me dead....
What's cool is, this Hendrix demo obviously means a lot to him, he put some of that Hendrix style into his own playing, Under the Bridge, Californication, amazing songs which are now known all over the world.
@superkulmedkniv25 there is much more jimi hendrix stuff, like the band of gypsys ore blues records, and his jam secions with people like BB king... sorry fore me bad englisch. I'am form Holland
only problem with that BB king session is its in such bad quality. But I hear you; to truly hear his genious you have to hear him play on his live recordings.
@GreenStreetHooligun hendrix never played with b.b. king, there's an interview with b.b. and buddy guy where he talks about his regret of not doing so.
If I met him at this period in his life, 1 minute of conversation with him would keep him in my head for eternity. Everything he says in this interview touches my heart.
