Doesn't really have a lot of torque. It needs to be taller . The alternator a I made for it should have had more turns of wire. usually needs about a 15 mph wind to start charging. We are about to get our first winter blizzard here in Wisconsin today. possible high winds so I am anxious to see what it will do. Put this up last spring and it's been mildest summer wind wise I can remember.
like this design! compact and probably produces a lot of torque for gearing.

I really like your idea of counter rotation, it doubled the rpm and more rpm means more amps produced. :-) Great job man! 5 Stars.
