  • @Picafuli Thank you - I appreciate this :)

  • Nice, Lila! I didn't know you made this too until I saw your video on the side of the page.

Hehe...your recipe is the same one from this website that I saw from Food.com that was added 4 years ago..hehe! This recipe never gets old though. :D

  • Love your recipe, it's simple and it looks delicious:)

I like that you add goji berry in the soup!

  • @1recette1minute Thank you :)

  • I have everything in the house except the berries.

I've neither heard of them, nor seen them?

    Is there an equivalent?

    What flavour do they add?

  • @osummuso Hi - I've always known these to be called wolfberries, but the more common term is goji berries. Where I am they are sold in Earthfare and other healthy food stores. There is no real equivalent, though I would say they are similar to a raisin. They add a little bit of a sweet flavor, but if you leave them out of this recipe it will still be good. I sometimes leave them out myself and the main reason I add them in a lot of my soups is because of their health benefits :)

  • @AsianCookingmadeEasy Thanks Lila, I've been wondering what to do with this packet of dried Apricots for ages. I'm inspired.

    Keep up the good work!

  • i can't find the recipe for this on the website could u post a link for me?thanks

  • And all the Whos down in Whoville found that they too could make Sweet Potato Soup.

  • @patutty Thank you :)

  • @IndySweetPea1217 Thank you for watching and commenting :)

  • It is the season for sweet potatoes, and this looks delicious!

  • @KasCooks I almost forgot about this recipe. I usually just make this when I'm starting to feel like I'm getting a cold. I guess I always think of sweet potatoes in something substantial like your delicious sweet potatoes with sausage and eggs :)

  • such a wonderful recipe my friend! a perfect base for tasty additions and I am always looking for ways to get more sweet potato into my diet... do you have any sweet potato curry recipes? ~HUGS~ take care, hope you and the family are doing great!

  • @JimboJitsu I don't actually have any other sweet potato recipes. I don't really eat them that much. When I make this soup I drink the broth and mash up the sweet potato and serve it with dinner; but traditionally you're suppose to just eat it with the soup ..lol. I did make some great sweet potato muffins from EZglutenfree's channel the other day - they were delicious! We are doing well, thank you so much :)

  • @AsianCookingmadeEasy Thanks, this recipe will do nicely. It allows for many directions to be taken from the base dish as it looks like it has a nice delicate flavor. Scallops, garlic and bacon come to mind for some reason... ahhh... I look forward to the day I can return to my kitchen more frequently! for now You make a me hungry!

  • Hi Lila... sorry I misspelled your name in my previous comment ...

  • @YalisPantry Oh everyone spells it like that lol. I thought it was neat when I first saw your channel how your name is Yalila...it's like my name with the ya in front :)

  • Hi Leela :) thank you for another amazing video :)

  • @YalisPantry Thank you :)

  • Amazing..I made some sweet potatoes mash this weekend but now i am thinking this soup is just so good !

  • Wow how weird, I just went shopping and bought some sweet potatoes for the 1st time ever, now I know what to make tonight with them, thank you so much!

  • @Lilaan That's a great idea - thank you for watching :)

  • It looks fantastic! very easy!

  • My mom makes something similar to this! It's pretty tasty! :d

  • Thats different and it looks great , ive got to try it ...!!

  • @bowhunter2439 Yes, it is a bit different, it's actually a more traditional recipe. I usually drink the broth when I'm feeling a bit under the weather and the mash up the sweet potato and serve it with dinner :)

  • Nice and easy....it looks great!!!

  • @TheVittleVlog Thank you :)
