I am going to have to share this video to my kids. Maybe it will inspire them. LOL. I am like your mom. I have loved Garth since day one, but I have been to two concerts when he was touring. Now I R E A L L Y want to go to Vegas to see him at the Wynn. What you did for you mother was awesome. I know she appreciates it very much!!
Your mom is in for a treat.....Each concert is different! I was there last March sitting in the 5th row center stage and she will be so close to him. But you are correct, he goes through the music that has made him who he is now....from Bob Segar, Merle Haggard, George Jones, Billy Joel, Elton John, and many more. He does mix in some of his songs based on who influenced those particular songs
Cont... , and then he does a 15 min question and answer session with the audience where any one can ask a question or request a song...so have your mom ready to raise her hand quickly. If chosen she will get to speak with him one on one for a few mins!!! Garth is so humble and kind....he will ask the name of every person he speaks with so its more personal. Also, his wife Trisha will do a song or two with him and that varies as well. Hope she has fun!!! She is in for one hell of a trip/show
Also, he tells stories as he goes through the decades of music...starting with being a boy living in the 60's with his mom and dad on through being a grown man with his own kids today. BTW, He promised he will go on tour once his kids are all in college which is now 3 yrs away!!!!!!
Look up videos from Nupilot on youtube, this person has two good videos from the concert in Vegas. Garth at wynn and Garth 2. Give your mom a little teaser..LOL. BTW, no cameras are allowed in the show, that is why these videos are not that great, but the sound is. There are more like this on here, so search for them.
ahhh, wish it was me.. i wanna go to se garth brooks to.. but it's a little to far frome norway to las vegas.. But it was a great present to your parents.. :) hope they have a god time, and will remember it forever.. best wishes and love frome norway.. :)
