I was channel browsing the other night and stumbled across this. by the end of this scene, without knowing anything about the characters or the context, I was head over heels in love with this pairing. I also thought it was for some scheme of his but I just think he genuinely likes her and this was his messed up way of getting her to know him. @spareone2 He just told her mother the sherrif wo is also apart of the counsel he would want her support, he has already wont over Tylers mother who is head of the counsel. He's clearly tryna play the "good" guy although I do believe Caroline is and will bring out his True good side! He only became truly bad when his true nature was revealed and his Father turned against him as well as his mother not speaking to him becuz of the Father. His loneliness is the reason 4 everything

Let's not forget that Klaus is the reason Caroline's dying in the first place. He manipulated everything, he even manipulated Tyler into doing something he clearly doesn't want to. Ty and Caroline's relationship is genuine, unlike what Klaus and Caroline's potential relationship could be, built on Klaus' manipulations.

One thing that makes this scene pretty moving is how Klaus gives Caroline the choice of living or dying here. That's something, if you think about it, Caroline has never really had. Her human life was taken from her forcefully, among other things. This pairing seems very interesting.
The writers have played this Delena thing on for to long, now people have lost interest and are rooting for Team Klaroline...I happen to be one of them. And of course Team Klaus... :D

all we know ,klaus is werewolf son ,not michael's son.michael and esther had a shame because of it so they did not love him.it was not his fault to have a werewolf potancial and aggressive personality.plus esther and michael turned him into a vampire.klaus did not become a monster by himself,esther and michael made him.

@Prisquared i am in love with klaus from the first scene he came.if there is a problem i have the biggest problem but i do not think there is a problem:Dyes he did bad things but in the deep eye klaus has wounded humanity and heart.his mother and father behaved him bad.they saw him as a dirt in their family and after he became vampire he turned off his humanity that is all.
plus if there was no klaus,there was no action on the show:))

If this was a few weeks ago he would have let Caroline die. I think he's falling for her. And the gift at the end. It is not Klaus's fault Caroline got bit. When Tyler said I am not doing it. Let's not forget that Klaus is the reason Caroline's dying in the first place. He manipulated everything, he even manipulated Tyler into doing something he clearly doesn't want to. Ty and Caroline's relationship is genuine, unlike what Klaus and Caroline's potential relationship could be, built on Klaus' manipulations.

One thing that makes this scene pretty moving is how Klaus gives Caroline the choice of living or dying here. That's something, if you think about it, Caroline has never really had. Her human life was taken from her forcefully, among other things. This pairing seems very interesting.

When I saw this on T.V, I was looking at the tv or the show like WTF who is this guy. I kept thinking, wait somethings going to happen... hes going to do something.... isn't he??? I tend to forget he was the one who made Tyler do it, but I feel like this scene was very sincere either way. I kept thinking that he treated Caroline like his sister, but I can see why people ship them. I guess I wouldn't mind it, either. I still love Tyler x Caroline, though. (The end game couple for me at least xD) Love this scene either way :D

I read (on wiki...) that in the feb 9th episode Caroline is gonna see a side of Klaus that no one has seen before (hopefully its a sweet, romantic side). The info may be wrong but I'm really hoping it isn't. Klaus and Caroline would be great together!!!
