I've got a yz450f with hotcams and a dr.d pipe thats all. I smoke every quad that comes up against me minus the ones running on freaking alcohol or gsxr engines >.>... OH and to all of you who are talking about bikes that always win or four wheelers that always win. Yes part of it is the rider. but in that short of a distance gearing would have a lot to do with it too. taht yz450f probably had a stock sprocket. put a 60+ tooth sprocket on there and its going to rock them quads all night

@atvalpa23 I have a stock rmz 250f and i beat raptor 700's up a sand hill. the only quad close is a ltz 400 with paddle tires and I'm running dirt tires. I let honda 4ooex quads half way up the hill and chase them up and still beat them. dirtbikes are just lighter and quicker.

@atvalpa23 i own a blaster and i think your right. besides that, a blaster isnt even in the same class as a raptor or a banshee. for really tight curves and short straght-a-ways, i would prefer a blaster over anything simply because the handaling is AMAZINGand it is quick with a low top speed. but anything else ill take a banshee anyday. i also noticed that a blaster wil jump REALLY high and far without trying. very good quad for jumping, turning and tight tracks.

@livinloud1 the torque is only there because of the increased displacement needed to have a powerful four stroke. A 700 2-stroke would have WAAAY more torque. But no company could sell it due to liability issues. Look up horsepower and torque charts of 250 motocrossers and compare the two stroke 250 to four stroke 250.

Add a flywheel weight to the two stroke to tone down its hairyness and it will perform just like a four, tractable and controllable.
