Can someone explain the differece between condition 1 and say, condition 2 or 3? Is it an official term or just slang for a blizzard? I can't find any information about this weather rating system online.

@Alanozitch it's a whiteout condition. 1 is the worst because it's a whiteout with blizzard. 2 is snowy whiteout, but not blizzard.

and the wreckhouse area in newfoundland ugh. theres been cases were transport trucks have been thrown more than 40 feet from the road, the wind just picks them up, you can find pics of some accidents on youtube.

i hate weather like this. I live in newfoundland and there was 1 time the weather was actually frightning, the front and back door on my house actually blew open in the middle of the night and i just couldn't close them at all, the doorknobs were like busted. worst night of my liiiiiiiiiife.
