These are one of the most fun firearms made to date. Too many of the same stuff at the range. Having this gives you a unique, comfortable, reliable, and inexpensive shooter. The Tokarev round is good, but this longer barrel makes it even higher velocity. It hits things at 300 yards easily.
The PPSH41 is a long history of not working very well in semi. this was the first one that really seems to work well, and this was an actual test phase of the prototype. it was never shot as a target weapon on video because it was never designed for that. while it is an accurate weapon it's still not something good for punching paper.
yeah i know its a carbine but its semi and it fires a pistol round so if there wasnt such thing as a carbine tho there is this would just be a long pistol
you need to check out the round... this is no 9mm. in a pistol is zips through kevlar level III vests, as a carbine it's in the same class as the M1 Carbine.
7.62X25 is a pisol round. It was used in the Tokerov (CZ-52) and a few others. It is a rather old round, but has some very interesting properties. It is faster then most modern firearm round, with a bottle-neck round, yet a smaller bullet. I am not sure why it was not more popular then it was, being that it ofers a lot of power for a rather small size and not all that much kick.

I would definitely get one of those and SBR it and get a drum, around 1100$ bucks it could be done, totally worth it.

So what with that go for? about $800? when you say prototype is someone making them based on the Russian?
bulkfull 2 years ago
around $800.
The parts are full auto PPSH41's that were demilled, and rewelded as legal semi autos.

i really want to buy one of these...

What was the point shooting it at the ground? besides testing the magazines. I wanted to see target shots and its accuracy.

why didnt you use the round drum?

I'm not in the video. The stick mags are the hardest to get to work right. this test was a progress report showing that stick mags worked just fine.

Just saw that there is an AR upper profiled in the latest Shotgun News in this caliber, if anyone cares. I'm looking at one for myself.

snotgun news has an AR upper profiled in 7.62 x 25. Nice alternative to other calibers for the AR platform. I just built my first civie AR lower.
