No estoy seguro que esta es la verdad ("hay del Franquismo") porque nunca él dijo algo para apoyar el fascismo. Era apolítico (es decir, ni apoyaba la democracia). Según Peter Berglar tu observación que apoyaba Franco es "a gross slander" (pienso que se puede traducirlo "una calumnia flagrante"?).

Soy católico, he de decir que cuando supe que fue canonizado me quedé asustado por la idea que tenía de haber apoyado a Franco, pero fue un personaje que tomó su rol eclesiástico de no meterse en asuntos políticos, tampoco se metió con los de Castro. No había visto nada de él, pero ya conociendo más a fondo, sin duda es un santo, no místico como Padre Pío o Antonio de Padua, sino ordinario. Cristo tampoco se metió en poítica, pudiendo despotricar vs un imperio pagano y represor.

En realidad Cristo iba contra la corriente de la época. Pero dejo claro aquello "dar a Dios lo que es de Dios, y dar al Cesar lo que es del Cesar". según su actuar, díficil determinar cuando fue político(cuando no hablaba de Divinidad), y cuando lo fue. Políticamente fue un pacífista. Y realmente difñícil decir si fundó una iglesia para realizar actos dentro de templos.

@settembrini33 Christ is Risen! There is so much to know about Christ's teachings. The Papist Church organization has lost it. You say you want to be with the "true Catholic Church", then follow it. Catholic, comes from the original meaning, Katholoki..universal. The Nicene Creed stated it. It didn't mean high and mighty pope, back in 351 AD. It meant, that Christ established the Church, on Pentecost, for all mankind that He created.

Joasia9 @settembrini33 . I was Catholic and converted to Greek Orthodox Christian. You would be overwhelmed with the spiritual teachings of the Orthodox saints. Its beyond the catholic/papist view. Its so profound. Gods teachings through the Orthodox holy fathers is so powerful. It makes catholic teachings seem like kindergarten.

Joasia9 @settembrini33 .Just google Orthodox holy fathers. Or buy the Philokalia, there are 3 volumes, I think a 4th, but I havent seen it. Its complied by St. Nikodemos of the Holy Mountain (Mt Athos - Holy Mountain, in Greece). Its so deeply spiritual, if that is what you are looking for.

That is the true meaning of holy communion with God - like Adam and Eve had. But, we are displaced, because we live in a fallen nature. Our souls feel what is right, because God speaks through our souls, but we make our own interpretations and that's what keeps us seperated from God. The Catholics view life with God with a simplistic mentality.
