One of the bolts on the front of the watch fell out on mine a few months after I bought it. Packed it up, paid the shipping, and Bulova repaired the watch and sent me a bill for $10 for watch repairs. Wrote a letter to their VP on the bill two months ago and no response. I currently own two Bulova watches, I want own a third because the Bulova warranty on a new watch is basically useless.
In 2010 Bulova introduced the Precisionist, a new type of quartz watch which is claimed to be accurate to 10 seconds a year and has a second hand that continuously sweeps rather than jumping each second.
@TargetRender It's a quartz with a sweeping second. Bulova's Precisionist movement. It's actually stopping 16 times/second, double that of an automatic at 28800 beats per hour.
very nice watch! I like it!

The Bulova Accutron has a true sweeping second hand. Also the Seiko spring drive.
