he definitely sustained a serious head injury - most likely a concussion. you can tell by his "fencing response" after he's knocked out and people come rushing to him on the ground. his right arm is sticking out above him unnaturally in the air.

I hope you're right. Oftentimes it goes undiagnosed until symptoms show up later. If he was unconscious and posturing like that he definitely suffered one, but good news is good news so hopefully he's okay like you say.
