  • For all the Toyota haters out there, just one question. What was the only truck to be tough enough to be the first to the north and south pole?

  • Nice truck. Very clean.

  • if your 4x4 can't do that then you don't have a 4x4

  • tacomas are badass trucks! I'm definitely gonna save up for one.

  • Looks like the Taco didn't even try. lol

  • That's way better than having to walk up that rock yourself.

  • It's funny to see the gas guzzling haters calling these jap junk or rice burners. My 2012 Tacoma was built in Texas and 90% of material used was sourced from the USA. And "best in class" made no sense, a 2500 series is not in a Tacoma class....retard. Now then stack a Chevy S-10 or Ford Ranger and the Toyota will out perform and out last.

  • @SRN76 toyota trucks are more american made than "AMERICAN" trucks are anymore.

  • @SRN76 good thing they don't make the s-10 anymore re re

  • your wrong on the durability, Chevy is best in class, No way a rice burner comes even close to an American truck

  • @blufftoncpl72 Toyota Tacoma/Tundra will rape any American truck.....Sorry

  • @blufftoncpl72 FAIL... I'm all about American made but they just don't stack up unfortunately.

American is great for straight hauling and such but they just circle the drain when it comes to being nimble in the mud and on the rocks. Chevy totally had a chance with the Colorado but FAILED miserably. Just a fact...

  • a chevy will blow those rice burning jap junkers away. my 2500 hd has pulled barns over. screw jap junk.. i love america to much to buy a rice burner

  • @blufftoncpl72

yeah asshole ure comparing a big v8 diesel

with a v6 gas engine, plus in durability

toyota will outlast any chevy or ford

ive had fords and chevys and

    actually I trust toyota more,

    they never break down

  • @blufftoncpl72

Are you talking about a Chevy 2500? You do realize that it has a Japanese engine right? It's an Isuzu design.

  • I'm jealous. I live in NYC and, outside of the snow, I don't get much chance to do this stuff. But on Sunday, I was on a landscaping project and did some good inclines--lots of 45 degree stuff while we were clearing out an overgown area. I have a 15-year-old, 4-spd. manual and I hope it lasts forever.

And I'm a girl, but whatever, I like this stuff.

  • i remember when i drove a toyota then i got a real truck

  • gnarly. i like toyotas

  • fords suck and GMC and Chevys all suck major choat. people who love these heaps have never owned a toyota.

  • @MrLunchladyarms I have. Still like Chevy's. =] But, unlike you I don't have to dis on other vehicle companies. I think they all are great. I'm just partial to Chevy's.

  • see look where ive wondered off to

  • Auto's are for those who cant do three things at once...ie modulate a clutch while steering and feathering the skinny pedal, manuals own auto's period

  • Autos will own a manual everytime crawling period.

  • Theres a reason Yota died in star wars.....cuz he was weak and out dated :)

  • ok u dont understand, just want tell u,automatic tranny is for gay people or for sick people, for that people was propably design.also for off-road is automatic usless, due to overheating, that is why every real off road is manual.taco is nice truck but for that price a how this truck is small,is better go with ford diesel.i'm toyota guy too,but taco is not the best yota.best is land cruiser 79 series,or hilux!!i try speak english, too bad u re arogant, but im happy your USA is fuck up..LOL

  • @TheBlazen001 TRY SPEAK ENGLISH!!!! LOLLLOLLL. But seriously, im sorry for your crippling mental disability. Also while I also prefer a manual to an automatic, here in first world nations we have things called cities and an unfortunate by product is rush hour traffic. I understand that in whatever third world cesspool you hail from most of the few cars are towed by donkeys so theres no need to worry about constantly having to press/depress a clutch pedal so the choice seems obvious.

  • @TheBlazen001 youre a moron. Everything you said was a waste of what little brain power you have. We are all worse off for having read it. May god have mercy on your soul

  • It's easier to crawl with an auto.....no it is not!!also automatik tranny cant not run in low rpm.cuz will overheating.thats why every real off road is manual trany, and also u can pick gear what u want, not what give u automatic shit!!tacoma is nice truck, but can not by compare with truck like toyota land cruiser or even toyota hilux.too bad here in america u cant buy new 4 runner with manual tranny.

  • @TheBlazen001

too bad you cant speak english or we would of knew what the fuck you were talking about

  • Is that a TANK!!! Lol awesome truck

  • A yota's v6 can easily out do an American v6

  • Are you using rear diff lock or 4x4?

  • Does this truck have eLocker?

Any diff locker on the front?

  • wow

  • well done =)

  • When he was stationary on the rock I was wondering the same thing.... auto or manual? Then I saw the comment below:

This comment has received too many negative votes (show)

    auto

    mrbike725 - 11 months ago

    lmao

  • windy much

  • best of toyota, I've not seen a dodge high country offroad, sure they may have been in the mud, but that's all there is....TOYOTAs are all over from low riders to crawlers...

  • ...yeah Toyota is great but Tornado effects were better, Bucky...

  • NICE WIND NOISE!!

  • Holly Shit!

  • if that isnt a "latte" boy truck, than what is? Only the Ford Ranger is competing for most pussy truck ever invented. Do they even put v8's in any of those? Toyota does make reliable products but not tough products. I'll take my manly Dodge, complete with a v8 anyday. Anything a v6 can do, I can do better. Except mileage tho, but thats what my cars for so dont hate. Feeling the need to "prove" your truck is ultimate failure. Its like a boy tryna prove to his father hes a man... hes a boy.

  • @patrick1744 i think the point trying to be made here bud is that toyota makes the best "small" trucks. sure a dodge is more rugged, but nowone cares cus the topic here is SMALL trucks

  • @patrick1744 Haha, the v8 in the tundra will rip the rear diff right out of your pussy dodge

  • @sledmetal thats non-sense. i forgot to mention mines a dakota. so yes to the v8. but its in the tacoma weight class but with bigger balls. tundra cant do shit. dodge is made to aggressive for toyota. toyota is runnin a marathon, slowly but surely. it is what it is.

  • @patrick1744 Haha they are both good trucks... and I think dodge is one of the best looking, and nice trucks... but toyota has them beat with durability and assurance... and their i-force v8's are a strong motor for sure. but i'd the power win to a hemi any day... not to mention a nice cummins in a 2500 power wagon. Just saying tundras are nice trucks too and don't get the credit they deserve with some people... I swear most people swear against them is because its Toyota, idiotic reason

  • @sledmetal you sir are very ignorant my dodge will destroy any fuckin toyota v8

  • Yeah but for how long Slugmetal?

  • @laddington08 Cool it fanboy, and give yota some credit, a stock 5.7 hemi against tundras iForce would be very close.... get a grip and don't judge before you've actually driven one

  • @patrick1744 What is so much more "manly" about your Dodge? It has marginally better tow capacity, the same payload capacity, worse acceleration, and worse mpg than the 2005+ Tacomas. Last I knew reliable = tough. A truck that lasts a long time without needing repairs is the definition of tough. Sorry but your Dodge is not any more "tough" than any other midsize truck.

  • @cashmab mmm, American vehicles are put in a class called muscle cars. All the muscle cars have big engines, V8 or better. I guess my word choice could have been better. My bad. What do you call a truck with a v6? When the car just down the road has a v8? I guess it would just be foreign, they dont know how we do things out here. Toyota is City-boi. Yes, I will take my Dodge Dakota. My friend has a Taco and he wants to upgrade to the same size Tundra, only difference being the engine size.

  • @patrick1744 City boi? Get real dude. Watch some videos of Toyota trucks built up for trail use. If you know anything about wheeling you would know that Toyota trucks are at the front of the pack as some of the most offroad capable vehicles out there when built up, except for maybe some built up Jeeps. Except Toyotas can take more abuse out on the trails than Jeeps. You don't see a lot of Dakotas out on the trail, maybe like one for every 30 toyotas. Different trucks excel at different things.

  • @cashmab Alright, fair argument. Its cool that Toyota is competing, for trails, like you say. We took a 08 Rubi down the trails, closely followed by the Taco, both performed fine, both stock. Taco punctured something underneath, skid plate or lift would fix that, but the V6, I dont know about that. Why not 8 cylinders? Everything else can be accounted for on any other truck. So im just curious, whats the dealio with that? Better acceleration? It has less torque, same weight, how is that?

  • @patrick1744 dude this arguement is pointless, he wont understand till he owns, loves, destroys, and bleeds for a yota for himself. he's the kind of person that accellerates the "ignorant american" steriotype.

  • I bet this guy can find a parking spot almost anywhere... lol

  • Is this the part where two men go on a trip to the mountains with secrets.......j/k NICE TRUCK!

  • My LeSaber would rape that. Did I say "rape" that? I meant " get raped by" that. Nice truck.

  • auto is cheating try that with a 5 speed

  • No problem.. haha this is why i love toyota's

  • 4in lift with 35s?

  • Didn't even air down tires. NICE

  • I went with a friend yesterday to look at a 2011 tacoma 4x4, it had the official sticker of 80% American/Canada Parts and 20% Japanese, and was made in California untill recently, now made in Texas, might be the most American made truck there is, I can get picture of sticker is someone has picture of American truck with more made american made parts made in America

  • @jonacord parts migh be made in america but the trucks are manufactured in Mexico, across the border from San Diego, In Tecate, Baja California.

  • Very impressive!

  • which is the year of this monster

  • I can't wait until my current car payment is paid off, so i can purchase my next vehicle which is going to be some version of a Toyota 4x4. Either Tacoma or 4 Runner.. I love them both. The new 4 runner looks so bad ass, i love how they make a nice plush SUV, yet it has a rear diff lock, and all these handy 4x4 options, they are the perfect SUV. Im thinking of going with the 4 cyl Tacoma though to getr the gas mileage, only thing is you cant get the diff lock and other goddies on the 4 cyl.

  • And I don't see "shitty IFS" keeping that Tacoma from climbing very well. In fact, I don't see the IFS causing ANY problems.

Maybe they wanted to leave the IFS in the truck because it's their daily driver and they wanted a truck that still handles and rides pretty good?

Not everyone needs to chop up their truck by cutting out the IFS to install a solid axle just to please you.

  • Shitty IFS? You mean like the original Hummer and the Vietnam era Jeeps, both of which performed very well off-road AND had FOUR WHEEL independent suspension, good enough to be used by the military?

IFS may have some disadvantages, but I wouldn't exactly call it "shitty".

In fact, with the '05 redesign, the Tacoma started using stronger front suspension and front drive components. The ring gear size in front is the same as the rear (8") and the axle shafts/CV joints are bigger.

  • Still a shitty IFS. Look at the drop brackets at the beginning

  • badass i wish i could afford something like that

  • great

  • wow . it just crawled up there like nothing

  • Little Moab ?

  • LOL nice job at tipping the camera to make it look steeper than it really is Fag.

  • @The05ZX10R He tips it both ways dumbass. He just can't hold it steady.

  • @sawebber88 LOL was I even talking to you nut gobbler? Go play in traffic little fella.

  • brave maybe with jeep but truck lol

  • dude.. you dont go out and buy 35 inch all terrain tires. Get some M/T's

  • Where is that? Looks like New England coast. Hope you didn't spill your latte on your lap ;)

  • 2x4 or 4x4? Its nice to see some people actually know how to offroad. Other videos are stupid like flooring it up a rock lol.

  • Beautiful.

  • Cool truck!

  • what make and size are the tires?/

  • Nice truck bro....

What kind of tires are those size and model??

  • I thinking on getting a new truck and of-course Toyota 2011

  • GOOD JOB, for an ifs yota

  • thts insane suspension

  • damn its windy

  • badass video bud! climbed it with ease..

  • I had a 96 Tacoma that I adored then got an 09 Tacoma. I STILL miss my '96.

  • pretty good

  • i have one of these makes me wounder? umm what mine can do.

  • Toyota Tacoma are awesome trucks! Toyota does make great trucks.

  • @pjtart yeah the new consumer reports say that the full size trucks toyota tundra was rated best and titan rated worse im a ford guy but sooner or later im going to switch to japanese because all american companies are going down hill

  • ya but its still a chinses truck

  • @FrostyExchange actually you should do research into what you're saying.

  • @nomadicexplorers well really japan but its all pretty much the same, it isnt American.

  • Auto or manny?

  • @VindicatedNinja four doors only come in auto

  • @Honaman1128

Wow, I'm sorry to hear that.

  • @VindicatedNinja with the new body style in 2008 they added a manuel fourdoor! but in the 2004 and earlier they didnt have a manuel fourdoor.

  • @hondaman1128 That's good! I don't think I could drive an auto Toyota ):

  • @VindicatedNinja i agree but with the new tacoma with the auto it gets better gas milage and is impresivly smooth and powerful. but i like manuel better.

  • @mrbike725 im gettn a toyota tacoma soon and i have been lookin at liftkits and i was wondering what lift you had on urs and what year ur truck is

  • @mrbike725 Did they really ..lmao
