I thought tourney rules state that you cannot change your character if you won the last match with him/her but you opponent can, if so then why did ed ma pick balrog after winning with ken?

As if Ed had the chance to execute the ultra as anti air , because combofiend wouldnt be so stupid to jump in for it . He cancelled out his SRK to ultra because that's the only way to utilize the ultra .

Can you explain to me how you would cancel out a move? Like I hear people saying Daigo cancels out his Shoryukens to use his Super.

How do you do that in game?

1:16 and 6:00 = Cheapshot moves, even though you may be able to escape the throw....

what is cheap about it? its a backwards rolling throw. has the same escape chance as everyone else, although it reaches a little farther sometimes. but if you're any good you'll know that ken has a very limited moveset, and you have to use mind games to effectively beat your opponent.

i think it was the TV. or something to do w/ so many things having to be plugged into that TV.

apparently there might have been so many things plugged into that tv for the other 8 tv's to watch or something to make it lag. everyone was complaining about it...

IM not saying the ken guy sucks. Its just like 80 percent of the online plays ryu or ken mostly ken. And half play like this the other (noobs) just fire ball. Im just saying online street fighter 4 is FULL of hardcore street fighter players that count frames to know what has priority and can be spammed faster. Its just hard for me to see this and people say stuff like he`s the best ken user when others play just like him. I mean by all means he is a good player, but so are the other10000 online

But Edma has tournament experience. He's played against the Japanese (considered the best of the best in most 2D Fighters), he places well in most tourneys against other highly skilled players, and he's the freakin' master. You can't say that about the other 10,000 players online, can you?

Not to ride Edma's nuts. Combo made him look pretty bad. But hell... It's Balrog! He's insane. I'd rather fight Sagat than a good Balrog! But whatever... No need for us to be internet tough guys...

Yeah, Ed Ma plays him very in-your-face. I'm trying to play Ken like that, but I'm just nowhere near on Ma's level. Have a listen to the SFIV Secrets album he and Gootecks have on iTunes; it's a pretty good listen for any SFIV Ken players.
