The muslim south has been there way before the creation Of Thailand. When the borders were created - the British drew them according to geographic boundries. The malay Muslims have every right to be in Thailand- as that is their home. I also would like to see Thailand become peaceful again.

The victims here are not just the Thai muslims but the "THAI PEOPLE" in general. Although I'm a buddhist, I do feel so much sympathy for my Thai brothers and sisters, regadless if they are "thai" muslim or otherwise.

From the interviews to the actual event that happened, it was basically one sided. If you interviwed both parties and showed on the clip it would be different... I did interview both sides, and the government as well- this is only a trailer and a first draft of the trailer as I cut it in two days without having all the footage and interviews logged and transcribed. I have some amazing footage of some thai buddhists that had to seek refuge at a buddhist temple because their village was destroyed. Actually, in the trailer- the one guy who says "i have nothing left.." is buddhist and one of the villagers.
I didn't mean to sound negative but a little disapointed. I apologize for that. I would love to see the entire documentary and make up my mind after. If you let me know where i can see it I would appreciated. It was a nice job cutting in 2 days though. BTW, I hope you enjoyed Thailand as much as I do. It can be a beautiful place to live.

I have some amazing footage of some thai buddhists that had to seek refuge at a buddhist temple because their village was destroyed. Actually, in the trailer- the one guy who says "i have nothing left.." is buddhist and one of the villagers.
