I heard you have to use polyester thread, is it necessary?

I have a Teflon coated foot on the machine in the videos. It's not needed for sewing FOE - it's really only needed when sewing directly on PUL. But it doesn't bother anything so I just leave it on all the time.

What foot are you using?
It looks like the teflon smooth type foot.
Does that help?
How do you bind it off??
I had a hard time with that.
